I hope that wasnt directed at me for a couple reasons, such as:
-Everything I said in my last post makes sense
-I HOPE he plays LIGHTS OUT and gets a MASSIVE payday. Thats the whole point of a 'prove it' year like I said

That does not make me anti-tannehill

No, not directed at you. Directed at the guy who is just filling the forum the last day or two with his anti-Tannehill rhetoric.

I just would prefer to get Tannehill signed to a decent contract now, and not wait for him to get a massive payday. It's a difference of opinion...I think that Tannehill is going to continue to improve, and get that big payday, others think he's hit his ceiling, and we should jettison him. If you believe he's the guy, you sign him now. If you don't believe he is the guy, then you don't want to resign him.

I understand that point of view, that is one of the benefits to signing him this offseason, I agree. However, I also dont want to 'believe' he is the guy, I want to 'know' he is the guy.

P.S. That guy is just looking for knee jerk reactions. Clearly very biased opinion.

Because that's not a priority or something that is being discussed in the Front Office, or even a possibility of happening this year.

I notice how everyone is ready to send Starks packing and to 're sign Odrick...anyone besides me notice that when they finally let Starks play most of the game is was everywhere in the backfield and sacking the QB. As always he plays very well when getting most of the snaps and Odrick did not have a game that good all year. I realize Odrick is younger but he has to pick up his game and if he wants 7-8 mil per year there is no way he is worth that much. What do y'all think? I mean he had one sack in a contract year.
