This jack*** is the only good thing about Seattle losing today... Hopefully he learned a lesson here.
That interception gave me a flashback of the cam cameron days in miami. Carroll called the worst play imaginable thinking it would be ingenious
Lol idk what hes gonna do, I hope he had a plan for this situation. He has to feel so dumb right about now. He better find the best tattoo artist at removing tattoos.
Cant wait to hear who is going to praise a tainted win by a dirty team. Theres nothing to celebrate about
http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:12266125 Carroll trying to explain this lol. Dude you got cute and it cost you the Superbowl. "We were trying to waste a play" I mean seriously, cmon man. You completely shat the bed in epic fashion.
Even though the Seahawks lost. I still think Wilson proved today that he is a much better QB than many people want to give him credit for. If if the OC had not called the pass play in the last few seconds of the game and run the ball instead, everyone would have been talking about the great drives Wilson led the Seahawks on in the last minute of the first half and the last minute of the game. Give Wilson some top tier WR's and he would be ranked right up there with the top QB's in the NFL. As it is, even with a mediocre receiving corp, Wilson is the best young QB in the entire league, not named Luck.
Dude.. Honestly.. Not to be mean.. But who cares what people think. He completed 2 passes I'm first half. I'm sick of Wilson.. Both hearing how over rated and how omgamzzing he is. Basically I'm just a cranky ***** right now.. So not your fault.
Maybe so, but i guarantee there are people who blame Wilson for not throwing it low and away. Idk but the argument can be made that he left the ball hanging out on a limb.
If RT17 made it to the SB, I wouldnt care if he threw 8 INTs, he finally took us to SB!!! Praise the lord!!!!
I thought he was to outfront... But would not say it was a bad throw.. Much more of a great play by the DB
Seahawk fans are saying Pete Carroll was trying to get Wilson the MVP instead of going for the sure win.. honestly it makes more sense than anything Carroll has explained so far "it was to waste a play". lol It only makes sense as to why they called a pass, it still doesn't make sense to call it.
I didnt say it was a bad throw, just that he could've placed it where only his teammate could make a play on the ball.
That's what I was thinking as well. As much as they claim to love Lynch, they love Wilson more and that last play showed it. If I was lynch I would be pissed off.
That 's not true. The OC has gotten the blame for every questional play the offense has run the entire time Tannehill has been the starting QB. The reality is if the Dolphins ran that play under the same set of circumstances and with the same results, there would be fans on this forum demanding the immediate firing of Lazor for the call and I wouldn't argue with that sentiment. That was probably the worst call in a championship game I have ever seen. Especially when you consider they have the best power back in the NFL and they had three downs to gain one yard.
If someone had told me Brady was going to throw the ball 50 times I'd imagine the score being like 42-14 Seattle winning going away. Gotta give it to Brady and the Pats. I ****ing hate them but this was a big win for them, they deserved it.
From the comments by some of the players after the game. I think the defensive players and the offensive linemen were pissed off enough over the call. Some of them were stating that they didn't understand the call either.
That one is going to sting and linger for a long time if you're a Seahawk fan.. Especially with the Cardinals and the 49ers in your division (49ers defense is going to be full strength with Bowman and Aldon reunited, their defense is just as dangerous as Seattle). Oh boy... What a long offseason for them..
He's probably jumping to the top of many people's list of greatest QB ever. You always see Montana at the top. I happen not to agree on that one because I think he really benefited from a strong team (both offensive and defensive), but now with Brady having 4, it sickens me but I'd put Brady at the top.
NFL head of officiating saying this week the TD that helped the Pats beat the Ravens a few weeks ago was an illegal formation that the officials missed. (WHOOPS!) btw, Belichick was also caught cheating on his wife. So.. he's consistent, at least, right?
You can't blame them. Its sad and really shows how they really feel about Lynch and his media antics. They didn't want him to win MVP and then proceed to answer the media with "I'm only here, so I can get the keys to my new car" 30x's lol
While injuries are part of the game. The Seahawks had three significant injuries to players on the defense during the game and not having these players in the game most certainly reduced the effectiveness of the Seahawks defense during the game. Yet the Patriots have to be given credit for their ability to recognize where the weaknesses in the defense were and in their play calling which enabled them to exploit these weaknesses.
