Yes plenty. Mostly in club and the staff forum. Celtkin turned over his part of the site to Muck. Its strictly his baby at this point. I got it on firefox. Im wondering if its only happening to Mac users.
Im good on chrome too! Also, press release on the hiring of Pat Shurmur as the Head coach of the jacksonville jaguars, coming ASAP.
Rumors out of Denver are that Bevell is looking at ex-Dolphin head coach Joe Philbin for the position of offensive coordinator. Sources say Bevell would handle play calling while Philbin would be in charge of handling game planning similar to his role in Green Bay. Per league rules no offers can be made at this time, but look for future developments.
Well the plus side of GIK doing this ...it's helping me not poke people about potential trade ideas. Trying to keep as much of this roster intact as possible.
someone should hire Rocky Seto as a coordinator. Patriots are looking at tieing the Broncos for the most Superbowl losses at 5 tonight. I wish that the Patriots have lost the Superbowl each time Griddles GM'ed them was a stat that was true but alas it will only be for this year.
No parade this year... *sniff* Ah well, Bear Down, Go Hawks, Boiler Up, Go Dawgs, Go Cubbies Go, #SoDoMojo
Kings>Blackhawks ... I still have that game 7 from last year's playoff series vs Chicago on my DVR... greatest hockey game I've ever seen.
Obviously you havent seen any Islander game from this year.....or from our cup dynasty years when we were relevant! Its ok, the "Drive for Five" is alive again!
I do as well but the Dolphins have always been my #1. Giants are the only team I like. I was really happy all 4x theyve won in my life....Ill probably cry tears of joy when the Dolphins (Or Knicks, Islander or Mets win)
I was born and I still live in Seattle and my dad grew up in Chicago, so I've been a fan of both teams growing up. Bears are my #1 though
So it seems everyone who needed a HC has bid except the Bills. Can we assign a coach and move to OC/DC? Its fun but really the least important part of the game.
Thats fair. I dont know if I ever shared this story on this board.... Ive grown up in NY my whole life (except 3 years I was away at college). Always been a Phins fan but my uncle put me on to the NYG as a young child (must have been like 4 or 5) and I loved LT growing up. I was 5 or 6 when I first recall seeing Dan Marino playing. So the CPA firm my dad worked for at the time gave away tickets to Jets Dolphins when I was 8. It was 1986 (****, now I feel old). My aunt's boyfriend at the time also happened to be tight with ex Jet Johnny Hector. So we go to the game; we got there really early and I remember watching both teams practice and we had great seats and Johnny meets us in the parking lot. He says hang on a few minutes and we wait outside the locker room but in a tunnel area. He comes out a few minutes later with a signed football and I remember meeting Wesley Walker, Al Toon, Joe Klecko, etc. Basically the whole team signed the ball. Mark Gastineau comes out a few minutes later to sign the ball for me. I dont remember which one it was that asked me who my favorite player was but I remember I unzipped my jacket and showed off a brand spanking new Marino jersey I had gotten like a week earlier (I was also one of the first people I can remember rocking sports jerseys as an 8 year old but I still have every jersey Ive ever owned). Gastineau takes the ball and fires it across the tunnel. I went and got and still have it signed by every player except Mark Gastineau on that team. The jets had the revenge....this was the game http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/198609210nyj.htm Moral of the story: Life is a series of decisions. I should have been a freaking Giants fan
Yes, but do you actually believe that? That's Carroll taking the bullet for his OC. My original comment was a joke though. That's an atrocious call, but it doesn't mean Bevell is a bad coach or would be a bad HC. It's just a case of a coach outsmarting himself.
Matt Hasselbeck should retire. I'd hire him as OC just for ****s and giggles. If not, I'm sure Shaun Alexander isn't busy these days.
I might get involved with that....just for principle. I will still make moves. I just can't see more then a handful outside of draft pick swaps. Even the guys I am willing to move....I would be just as happy keeping.
Its really not uncommon for head coaches to call a play in crunch time. I don't think he called the play actually after listening to what he said, I think he just said he wanted a pass. I buy that. I know you were just joking anyway though
Johnny Manziel checks himself into a treatment facility this morning. I feel like the browns should host AA meetings at their facility, you know just to get a jump on things.
I'm in Central Ohio, closer to Cleveland than Cincy so I get all the sports talk about them. More of a train wreck than the Dolphins is of little consolation.
