In 2013 the Dolphins needed ONE WIN to make the playoffs and their opponents those last 2 games fielded inferior rosters. And do I need to tell you our offense scored 7 Damn points combined in those games? Yes 7 total...like 3.5 PPG one at home. So let's not pretend Ryan hasn't played vs teams worse than his and yet failed miserably.

The good news is, Ryan hasn't gotten better since that ridiculous fail.

any good receiver would of crossed that backs face..besides it was a stupid call that didn't use the strengths of the qb nor the running back..

if you blame him for that and discount the rest and not elevate your opinion based on what you saw then I just feel your being difficult on purpose..

basically if your telling me you feel the same way now then before that game, then thats your opinion and your a poopie head.

lol. i thought his game against green bay validated my opinion of him. guy threw four picks, shouldve had a fifth on the 2pt conversion. 3 slants in 2 games, 3 picks. guy simply cant throw the slant pass.

on a positive note he is the first qb to ever throw a game winning interception in the super bowl

I think it's his height. People confuse small players for weak-armed players and they never really shake the idea that a small quarterback is physically limited, and a physically limited guy to them = game manager.

Brady's a good example actually, even though he's very tall. Because he went in the 6th round and because Michigan seemed like they were trying to replace him with a guy they considered to be more physically talented before Brady even left (Drew Henson), people fit Tom Brady into this box as a physically limited quarterback with a weak arm. It was never true, and the film showed that, but it didn't matter. Once you're in that box in everyone's mind the film doesn't even really matter at that point because most people don't really know what they're seeing anyway.

So for the entire first part of his career Tom Brady was a weak-armed quarterback, a guy that was considered among the weakest armed starters in football. It probably wasn't until Joe Theisman and Ron Jaworski started pointing out that Tom Brady has one of the best arms in football in terms of pure ability to spin a great, fast football over long distance...that's when that whole perception of Brady started to change. It helped that Randy Moss came along in 2007 and suddenly Brady's throwing all kinds of deep bombs to Moss that are connecting for big yardage...and suddenly folks are like, oh wait Brady's not a Pennington. It took that long though, like five or six years. And all the while everyone claiming Brady is just a physically limited game manager type who is being made by his offense, and whose strongest characteristic is just being particularly good in crunch time.

First ballot Hall of Fame career later...

That's what is happening with Russell Wilson right now.

I made it clear he was the backup, I didn't forget Ryan Tannehill, he hasn't accomplished anything of significance, no playoff berth's, no awards, no pro bowls, no leading in any passer categories to date, his wikipedia page only has "Miami Dolphins MVP (2014)" (lol) in his accomplishment sections, which is quite comedic when you look at everything in Wilson's, Luck's, Griffin III's, and Foles' accomplishment sections lol

No. You are giving some of these guys too much credit.

The reason for all the hate is the insecurities of our fan base with Ryan Tannehill. Sad but true, giving Wilson props is a slap in the face to the Tanny can do no wrong crowd.

Too much to ask to just be optimistic about both I suppose.

he's actually better already. and considering he's improved for three straight years and will likely improve a fourth he is going to create some serious seperation from wilson

When Wilson plays at a below average level in terms of QB rating, the Seahawks play at about a 0.500 level as a team. That doesn't sound like a player who is unimportant in terms of that team's success.
