Harden and Ariza with 24 points thru the 1st quarter. Keep Jason Terry off the court....PLEASE!

Terry comes in...throws up 3 straight bricks....and Brandon Knight is raping him for 6 straight points and a couple assists.

He must be blackmailing McHale. How the hell does he keep getting minutes? I haven't hated a Rocket this much in my life.

    Nice win. 5-1 without Dwight.

On another note, i'm not sure if Brandon Knight was named an all-star....if not, he should have been.

You mean the guy who is averaging the second most salary per games played average in the NBA? I love Wade, my favorite player in the game, but that salary is no sacrifice. When he retires, the Heat will be able to fill the hole that has been left at SG since 2011.

Only Kobe is making more money than Wade has in terms of salary and games played average. Last year, pretty sure Wade was #4 behind Kobe, Rose and Amare. All known for their injuries.

Wade is the Heat. I don't care if he's putting up 4 points a game, I will always be loyal to Wade. He is still dominant when (when) he plays.

Surely you can't be serious? Greatest player in franchise hiatory. He brought us 3 championships and unbelievable play since the moment he stepped in the league. Selfless on top of that. Wade could have taken so much more money. He is still an elite player on top of that. D wade has a free pass in my book. This team would not be nearly as successful as it has been without him.

The Heat need more lottery balls to get a compliment player to Whiteside and Bosh.

I am not even going to respond to the Wade BS.

He is 2nd behind Harden (who is having an all-world season) at SG in PER, and is the signature player of this franchise, and THE GREATEST ATHLETE IN MIAMI SPORTS HISTORY.

To respond to the BS is to acknowledge the BS.

We've been crushed by injuries. It's gotten to the point that we're fielding a d-league team because everyone is ****ing hurt.

He's not wrong. Marino is legendary, but Wade has won more and been more directly responsible for winning more.

Now, if Marino gets a position of actual power in the Dolphins and the team starts contending again, I think that conversation shifts back to Marino.

Meh...basketball is secondary in most cities. Maybe Don Shula shoukd be king. We all know who the best player was for Miami from 2010-14. In sure Wade is held in high regard but Id be surprised if Floridians said Wade over Marino

The Lottery got us the best player in franchise history as well as the biggest piece that was sent to LA for Shaq. It also got us a big bust in Beasley, but the lottery is not a completely worthless exercise.

Nuggets want a first for Affalo. I think the Heat should do it. We need another scoring option plus depth at SG. We should give them Cole to free up some cap space too.

Good luck with that. A draft pick has to play for Miami, free agents don't. Miami is worse off than I thought, they are terrible, they need young talent. You find that in the draft.

No Miami is not fine, Miami is garbage this year, I mean not making the playoffs in the East means the team is a dumpster fire. Their top 2 players are on the wrong side of their prime as well. They need lottery picks.

Wade: heart of a champ. As opposed to Lebron: mental toughness of jello.

    Not a Cavs fan....nice try

Besides the point, he was undoubtedly the best player and the main reason they got those 2 titles.

actually the main reason they got that 2nd one was Mr He Got Game bailing LeFails *** out vs SAS. I'm going to write a book..."How a Little Town called Akron gave birth to the most overhyped drama queen athlete of all time". I'm working on the title; it's still a little wordy.

There was still a overtime and game 7 after Ray Allen made the shot to tie in game 6, and Ray Allen went 0-4 in game 7 (in which Lebron had 37/12/4). Ray Allen was clearly important to that title, but very likely not the main reason for it.
