Apparently part of that trade was making Boik Alex's Secretary .....I had another word but the asterisks ruin it
Couldnt say no, to D-MVP-Ware. In the last few days I had asked about Wake, Aldon Smith and a few others after trading Dumervil. In essence, I gave up less to upgrade the position while getting a true 3-4 OLB rather then a hybrid player like Dumervil while upgrading other areas of my team . Had a chance to get a great player, cost was reasonable, Alex is usually easy to work with....made sense all around. Ill have to address OL but I feel more comfortable doing that then positions that typically get over-bid in FA and overdrafted. And not for nothing theres only spot on my OL that need to be filled is Center and some reserve spots. I still have Monroe at LT, Warford/Yanda at guard and Ricky Wagner at RT.
It was a solid trade. I'm going into this trying to strengthen my offense for Winston as much as I can. My idea is to jist create a strong offense he will thrive in while adding a few pieces on defense to build around into the future. By the time my roster is done it will look like a team that after a season or two of strobg drafting would be elite. But Ware didn't fit that age wise. Zuttah will protect Winston and create holes for AP so it worked for me as well.
It was not a bad trade by any means let a lone compared to some others that have been accomplished haha
The new Bengals brass understands the mistakes made by the old ones. Plus he'll have a slightly better QB throwing him the ball this time. Just slightly.
Do you guys remember when I traded Kaepernick two years ago (and got a HUGE haul) because I said "You have to sell the doughnuts while their hot" and people gave me flack for it. Well... yeah.
The 49ers plan to rewind the offense and rely on the run and read option more like those "golden days" instead of going bat **** crazy and pretending we have Tom Fn Brady
Says the guy who thinks parking at espn Milwaukee is tough! Son, let me tell you about tough parking...try living beachfront on Long Island during the summer or driving to NYC...that's right I watched the video in your link. So what I was bored during lunch
Back in my day we had this ******* who would never give up ownership of Oakland and this crazy bastard Todd wasn't a eunuch* *this comment is made as a joke and not meant to entice any public disorder of any kind from said individual.
Soooooo youre saying you want to live there the rest of your life? Gotta wonder if GIK cut off Todd's fingers and threatened to ban him or something?
Looking to move Darnell Dockett for a 5th-7th round pick. Pretty much just looking to move him quick and add a pick. I can take on another cap casualty if need be, just send me an offer. The higher the cap casualty player I take on, the better the draft pick has to be. And I don't plan on cutting anyone with any dead cap, so I won't especially be cutting someone with 3mil in dead cap.
The Cincinnati Bengals would like to welcome (back) WR Andrew Hawkins. Love the idea of pairing him with elite WR AJ Green and promising youngster Stedman Bailey (3 games of 75+ yards in final six games of '14, +4.2 PFF grade). Hawkins is a dynamic slot WR who produced in a bigger role last year -- 63 receptions for 824 yards and two touchdowns --with a QB nowhere near as competent as Drew Brees. Likely to draw plenty of 1-on-1 matchups, Hawkins' sub. 4.35 speed should be put to good use and gives us a ton of options on offense. For those of you who value metrics (and why wouldn't you): Hawkins was 11th among all WRs last year with a PFF grade of 11.5 and Top 20 in yards after catch per reception and tackles broken.
Broncos welcome Larry Fitzgerald. With Adrian Peterson in the backfield and Demarius Thomas, Larry Fitzgerald, and Cody Latimer catching passes Winston should have an easy time making the transition to the NFL.
