    I know.... I know...

But I am telling you brother the dude is going to command crazy money on the open market and I don't believe that its going to be worth it to tie up that cash on one wide out.

Yeah, unfortunately this argument just went out the window. I just read an article that said Boldin is under contract till 2010 due to a four year extension that he signed in 2006.

    'DOH!

Now that I think about it, I actually remember that...

Oh well...its either a trade then or move on...

I am for a trade if by the 3rd pre-season game our WR corps looks very pathetic...if thats the case, then I think we should pull the trigger if all they want is a 2nd...

However I have hopes for some of the young guys...so lets see....I'll be there at TC...

Oh yeah bro I'll give up some info.

    I'm very critical though

I remember a few years ago, on FH, I almost got eaten alive because I said that I wasn't happy with one of our return guys dropping and/or muffling the balls on punt returns...(who was that again...hrmmm was it Devin Aromashodu? Not quite sure now)

At that point I said whoa OK nevermind

But sure I'll throw my hat in the ring some here...:shifty:

The guy WILL become a free agent about the time we WILL be 1 or 2 players away from making a run. I am willing to wait and see if he becomes a free agent. If he gets traded before then, well he gets traded, I would not be heart broken. We have a lot of youth here who have not had oppurtunities. I say let it ride.

Send a 2nd rd pick, preferably the Redskins pick, and maybe a 5th rd pick for Boldin.

Then after this year is up, trade more veterans for picks and continue rebuilding.

Dolphins need to figure out if they have a QB before they go off trading for injury prone WRS.

So you're saying that a legit #1 WR would be detrimental to Beck's development?

    Do explain.

Boldin in Miami would be unbelievable. but itd cost a first rounder probably, and i just would hate to see us pull the trigger on that one. id give up a 2 and a 3, maybe both 2's even, but i doubt the cards would play ball. they're content keeping him, happy or not, and probably wouldnt give him up unless for a ton of compensation.

we need to go get him, especially for the second we just got from washington...anquan compliments ginn just about perfectly...and he is still young, lets get him now let and him brew with the team...there's no reason he cant be part of the future, he is not old. He is 27..

he instantly brings respect to your passing game, and is a big target for our young qb......quarterbacks usually aren't that good without a pretty good number 1 wr......lets get that good number 1 wr for the future!!

he is worth the money to resign him.

what if we got brett favre too? i know i know but think of that offense...ricky who is supposbly looking really good, and ronnie when healthy is top 7 back...with our improved o-line...and then boldin, ginn, and wilford at WR.......throw a HOF quarterback in that offense and points will be put up.
