this hall of fame talk makes me question who deserve to be considered . why should I fret over it ? well no reason but if Marino was great enough to get in as a fast ballet hall of famer then some of his helpers should be included in the discussion.

Case in point, Dwight Stephenson Richmond Webb , and KUECH , should at least be considered . Keith Sims ought be a candidate but I don't know where he stands in terms of recognition, is Nat Moore in the hall of fame because I thought he was a late 70's player so if he isn't in the H.O.F. he should be .

what are the qualifications to be inducted. I personally think with Marino being so grate his receivers had to have put up h.of. numbers because Marino had to have thrown to somebody in order to put up those numbers .

here are the skill players that I would hope get a consideration Nat Moore if he isn't already in . if he is in then O..J. McDuffie , the Marks Brothers , and IRVING Fryar should have been good enough to get in. Of course if only Marino could of had Ricky , Welker , and /or Chambers Dan would have put up greater numbers and we win those two playoff games against Oakland and Baltimore .

naturally we cant get anyone into the h.o.f. but for Dan to get in he had to have had some wide recievers and tight ends to make DAN to have good numbers . that is my reasoning even though I cant expect anyone to buy that.

Dwight Stephenson is in the Hall of Fame. Kuechenberg has a good chance to go in via the veterans (seniors) committee. The others you mention are probably not serious candidates.

I don't see how Richmond Webb couldn't be. 11 years, 118 consecutive starts (Take that Jake Long!) and 7 straight Pro-Bowls, 4 Time All Pro selection and a member of the All 90's team.

What else does a guy have to do? I remember when he faced off against guys like Bruce Smith they would follow the battle and show highlights through the game. How many LT's get that treatment?

    Webb should be automatic IMHO.

Don't disagree that Webb deserves more serious consideration, but he was never really close. Unfortunately he is thought of as a great pass blocker and not a great run blocker.

only folks deserve hall of fame during the marino years is Stevenson who is, Webb who will probably be, and mark clayton, which I don't think ever will..sorry asses for a front office back then, not one defender even comes to mind..gross.

Webb was way overrated IMO. He had a stretch of a couple years where he seemed pretty good but I attribute that to Marino's release and movement in the pocket. As Dan's skills eroded, Webb became exposed. Horrible run blocker.

Kuech was the only player except perhaps Nat Moore who bridged both eras ,the Glory SB years and the Marino years.Nat Moore was the the speedy Mike Wallace type of WR when he was drafted in the Bob Griese era and he developed into the prototypical possesion receiver during the Marino era.

Kuech was well Kuech ,no one like him then or since. Both did not fit the typical pofile for the HOF but both were important to their teams in their era.
