Definitely, we are going to see a lot of 80's on the stores now. I know what you mean about it, lucky me that I have my Paolo "forever in Milan" Maldini jersey.
No worries. Yep, with Barragan you gotta love the buy-back option. Am looking forward to seeing Dani Pacheco and Nemeth in action.
Pacheco has played through the first 3 pre-season games. His touch and vision are exemplary. He just lacks size. Nemeth was a revelation for the reserves last year. They won the league on the back of his goals. In a way I'm surprised N'Gog was signed because Kristian looks set for some 1st team action behind Torres, Robbie Keane and Dirk Kuyt.
Seedorf is just upset and bitter that Dinho joined AC Milan. He'll have to adjust his game, and will probably see less time on the pitch. On a side note, my hockey number is 80, the year I was born!! Lovin the Dinho signing, and am quite pleased with the number selection as well.
In a different note.....you guys remember Giorgio Chinaglia? well is a fugitive since 2006, after a first arrest warrant for money laudering.
I hope they get him. I'm not familiar with this guy though, but I've heard a little about him trying to do an illegal attempt to purchase Lazio with laundered funds, linked with the Casalesi family della Camorra napoletana. If you guys doesn't know anything about La Camorra, They're the Napoli mafia, (just like the N'drangheta in Calabria, or La Sacra Corona in Emilia) Very bad guys indeed But I didn't say anything....
I never really like him, even when he was playing in the Nazionale, after that he came to the USA with the Cosmos.....nothing special. Gio in reference to the Sacra Corona Unita "SCU" are based in Puglia.
I've heard some things about them in Emilia, I know they're basically from Bari, Brindisi and all that southern places, right?, but the thing is.... Do you know them?? If so, I'm officially afraid of you ....
No man, I was reading couple days ago in the Italian newspaper an article about this stuff, which if I remember right this organization is not just in Italy but in several different Countries.....don't be afraid Gio, my hobby is to raise Boxers dog.
Yeah, I'm more a traditional guy, i like under-30 numbers. But to be honest with you, I don't care if he uses the happy face as his number, as long as he help us to win.
In other news; Mutu linked to Roma AC Milan needs another central defender as Nesta has a problem with two lower discs in the back and will see limited action. Damn why can't this guy stay healthy....always something.
I hope nothing serious with Sandro. Our alternatives are Maldini (as always), Kaladze, or Bonera, since Galliani already said that we are not going to sign anyone else.
I'm not worried at all Alen, we will have reinforcements in about 12 years from now. This is a little preview. (Paolo Maldini's 5 year old son, Daniel) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXpPD3FpxIg The class & technique are in his blood! (The big guy is Seedorf )
Is he the one in the Milan academy? I read about one that was in the Milan academy or in some fudbal academy.
AC Milan is rumored to persue Puyol if Nesta's injury is deemed serious. No link, my Dad hooks me up with all this info, he reads every Italian paper possible, saves me a lot of time.
I was surprise also, but I guess since Madrid got 4 others players from Holland, maybe was easier for him to make the decision.
Yeah but I thought they would have to pay more than that. Btw, thanks for the video Gio! Damn, Chelsea and Kalac!
Damnnn, Kalac looked lost on all those goals. Ac Milan was bad, but I wouldn't read too much into that 5-0 loss. They'll piece it together. That back line will be suspect though. They're too old and with Nesta being unreliable due to injuries, they got issues. I don't think Bonera is the answer, and Kaladze is far from world class. Maldini is 40. And that leaves....I'm not really sure who that leaves at CB????? Their Wing/Fullbacks are good with Oddo and Zambrotta. Decent depth behind them too, but in the center they're gonna have serious issues if they don't make a move ASAP.
I don't completely blame Kalac for Milan's terrible match against Chelsea because they were clearly in better shape than Milan, but he is so unreliable. Milan doesn't need that. yeah, awful performance! a couple of those goals were savable in my opinion. Dida will be the starter against Manchester City but Abbiati should have the job now. Well said. It was just a friendly match but our defenders looked so unprepared, Come on!, three goals in twenty minutes I hope they perform better with the first team. (Kaká, Dinho, Inzaghi, etc) On a side note Flamini will use number 84. (Birth year)
