I can't stand tosh but he's dead on about this. The pats dynasty is pretty tainted now IMO.

Tom Brady is the Derek Jeter of the NFL. Great but overrated.

It is only tainted if they ever actually put as asterisk by any of the four SB wins they have had during the Belicheck era.

Since that will never happen, it only sounds like whining when individuals complain about the Patriots. The reality is that if the Dolphins had won four SB's under Belicheck and been accused of the same infractions, all of us would be stating that everyone else was just jealous.

I noticed that Brady had no problem passing in the SB and the balls weren't deflated. So to me, deflatedgate is much ado about nothing, IMO.

Can't stand Colbert. Oliver is the sheezneez though. Stewart is good. Tosh is good. I liked the Soup guy too when he was on.

Can't agree with that. He's put his team in position to win 6 superbowls now, and they won four of them. Amazing catches have prevented them from winning all 6. That's incredible.

I like him. I feel the same about Colbert. I can't watch more than 2-3 minutes then it's like fingernails on a chalkboard.

The other guy is on Community now or something right?

I don't watch much new TV.

This Tosh clip is fantastic though. He clowns the Dolphins but then digs at the Bills and Jets.

you're confusing official with public opinion

not really. The fact is they've been caught more than once. In this case, there were complaints from the colts before the game. If that doesn't tell you something, sounds more like the bias you are accusing others of is your own.

Sure. In a dome, in the heat. The fact of the matter is, you have at least one game where suspicions were raised, and another where there was actually some proof of misdeeds. This from an organization that has been caught cheating before under pretty much the same people. Ignoring all that gives you the tint of a bias towards the pats more than anything.

And one handoff to Lynch away from being 3-3.

If you want to play that game if Kearse doesn't make that lucky catch not even a Lynch run away.

You understand Lynch was 1 for 5 in 1 and goal situations last year, and out of the past 5 years, is ranked 30 out of thirtysomething qualifying running backs in 1 and goal, right?

He's one of the worst in the league, in running it from 1 yard out.

It is inaccurate to compare QBs of different eras. Who knows how well Marino would have done playing under the current rules. If Brady played in the 1950s-60s NFL for example, he may have taken his ball and gone home crying after the first few games.

And he was carried in the first few, so meh...he's great, but not top 3 IMO.

What's less incredible is being lucky enough to be drafted to a team that put him in the position to do that, just like Derek Jeter. Though to me it's simple production. He's been great. But not as great as some of his contemporaries and relative to what other QBs have done in the past.
