Okay, FFG, if you're going to throw shots, at least let a brother know. Got me ducking behind the couch like Max Payne around here.
Cut free agency is tomorrow. Re-sign process (UFA part one basically) is March 2. Unrestricted free agency is March 9. Tagged/tendered bidding is March 23.
I can wait until 03/01/15 to use my two post June cut exemptions right? Just making sure, I have everything figured out.
March 1 at 10:00PM ET is the deadline for Post-June 1 designations, franchise tags, transition tags, RFA tenders, ERFA tenders, and any in real life restructures.
Apparently I can't trade the same guy twice. Wtf is up with these rules. Seriously though that was a big F up so Bengals get back to me, I can work out alternate compensation.
I really didn't want to give up Veldheer, but I have a need at DE and I think Wolfe fits the perfect mold there. I felt like he was an outcast in a 4-3 at DE, but he was one of the top rated DLinemen against the run. He doesn't have much of a pass rush, but he's got the body and run stopping capabilities to be a perfect fit a DE in a 34 defense. Plus, he's only 24 years old so a ton of upside. Also, we were against the cap when I first got the Cardinals (I believe 6mil over the cap) and I believe we've gotten to about 30-35mil under the cap, while stockpiling a total of 16 draft picks (two 1sts, one 2nd, two 3rds). This trade relieved about 6.5mil in cap as well.
Good trade for the both of us. Gave us each what we needed. WIth Veldheer, we have a very good RT to add to what is arguably the top line in all of football.
If anyone is interested, I'm looking to move Drew Stanton or Ginn + one of my 6ths/5ths to move up in the draft. Even if it's just a couple spots in the later rounds. Let me know.
He definitely is a damn good edge setter. I only moved him due to a huge hole at safety myself. Figured 3-4 ends are easirr to find than safeties.
I've read the report cover to cover, as well as everything else involved in the case. Anal penetration or not, he raped them. Neither instance began as rape. They both began as consensual sex that turned nonconsensual when Winston took it to a level the girls weren't comfortable with. Perhaps he likes to get rough, perhaps he likes to demean them, either way- he made the girls uncomfortable, and when they wanted it stopped, he didn't. There's inside speculation that Winston forcefully or demandingly tried to turn it into anal, and that's what shifted both incidents to nonconsensual. There doesn't have to be evidence of butt stuff for him to have tried, tried, and tried again, thus making the girls uneasy and stressed enough to make them want the experience over, which Winston refused b/c he hadn't yet busted a nut. Women have authority over their p***ies, and it's unequivocally Winston's M.O to defy authority and do whatever the heck he wants instead. He did it to the Burger King employee when she told him to stop stealing soda. He did it FSU PD when they handcuffed him for playing with a BB gun on campus, only to have the police called on him hours later for vandalizing his complex with the very same BB gun. He did it with his encore theft performance at Publix after having the police called on him for theft at Burger King, and who knows how many other theft instances there were since we only know of the ones he was caught for.
So what does that mean? Probably wouldn't have traded Nelson if that was the case. That began a series of 3 pretty big trades.
If you'd like I can give you Josh Bush instead. He's a FS, younger/cheaper/better long term potential than Bruton.
I've become a villain now. Seriously though it was my mistake and I'll find a way to compensate him even if it means something I normally wouldnt have agreed to.
I'm not thrilled, but don't worry man. I know you didn't do it on purpose. We can sort it out over DM
In a way I screwed myself too. I have to add all my salaries over because I probably subtracted Bruton twice. That makes life a lot tighter.
Alex and I will sort this out, but shrugging shoulders isn't exactly fair after we made several substantial transactions...based on the trade that is now voided. That player was presented to me after beginning negotiations. Rosters aren't up to date for everyone, so I go by someone's word when they say a specific player is on their team. I don't know how I would like it resolved, but a "sorry" is far from an ideal resolution. Alex meant well and we'll try to resolve it fairly among ourselves,
Didn't his LG get cut this week by the Bengals? Smith/Yanda/Frederick/Martin/? Already upgraded the interior to the actual 2014 best line in football. Just got RT to go.
His only other option would be more damaging and that would be to revoke all trades that happened based off this one with the big red reset button. He's giving you guys the chance to sort it out without the nuclear option. But this should be a reminder to everyone. Update your darn roster after every trade!
Having had it happen to me a few years ago it's frustrating as heck but there's really not a whole lot to be done
