I'd still like to move one of my receivers for other depth. They're not named Brian Hartline either, so there's that working for prospective teams. :shifty:

Some men throw out gold watches too though. On accident.

Though I would say 99% of the list is boring. Finding backups can be fun too though.

One girl accused him of rape. The other, the one referred to in the NYT article, did not accuse him of rape. She just wanted it on record with the university that she felt uncomfortable with the sexual experience, which goes back to your previous post that -- at the least -- he has shown signs of being disrespectful towards women.

For the record, I personally do not need a summary of this case. Unless someone here works for the SAO's office, I'm pretty sure I've spent more time focusing on Winston's background/reading documents than most.

I would start an Official Draft Discussion thread so you guys can argue about Jameis Winston... but I am not cleaning up that mess.

I'll let Paul do it, not like he has anything better to do...

Both my tackles are Top 10 in PFF. Whitworth has been top 10 at his position every year since 2009. Veldheer, 27, has been a top 10 LT in 3 of past 4 seasons and should be even better on the right side. He's the heir apparent to Whitworth whenever he decides to hang up the cleats. Zeitler is a top 10 guard and is only 24. The guy that was cut is Mike Pollak, the Bengals' BACKUP guard in real life and was cut because Cincy has a rookie center it's invested in and one of the best guard duos around. He probably will play his natural position at C for us, but even if he does play guard...he was ranked as a Top 20 guard this past year.

So I feel decent about how this line stacks up vs others.

Heh the graphics part of the post was meant for Fin-O. For yours I was just going by what you had posted as you only have 5 OL posted. So I was just messing with you over the term 'arguably' when I'm pretty close to bringing back last years #1 OL plus upgrading it interiorally with Yanda.

BTW... it takes two to **** up a trade... sure everyone needs to be on top of their rosters and keep track of their own draft picks. But IMO... everyone should also do their own due diligence before agreeing to a trade to make sure the pieces are valid and actually belong to who you think they belong to. Including myself.. right Jets? :wink2:

Her BAC was .048 at the time it was taken [roughly 7:30 am], emphasis on AT THE TIME IT WAS TAKEN. Backtracking to 1:30am [the estimated time of the rape], that's a passing of 6 hours. At the accepted rate of .015 BAC metabolized per hour X 6 hours, that's a BAC of .09.... plus the .048 still in her system... for a grand total of .138, which by my math is at least a .10.

If you question the 7:30am time, here's the police request for the tox kit, which includes the BAC [pic below, military time of 0725].
This was preceded by the 6:30am time that her examination commenced with her nurse [2nd pic below, military time of 0630].

I never said she showed signs of rape from her "in home doctor"? Where do you come up with that? I said "Attending nurse" and "clinician", you know- the people from the hospital who saw her that morning. The nurse's notes specify 2 or 3 counts of bruising, redness still present 5 hours later on her knees and foot [from when she tried to kick him off her]. The word TEARS in capital letters written vertically in the pelvic examination part referencing her vagina. Bouts of chills and vomiting. Semen in her panties. The clinician believing it was all consistent with sexual assault. More than enough there to suggest an immediate need to investigate, but Tallahassee PD was disinclined b/c they already knew who "Chris the freshman football player" [Casher] was, and they knew who his roommate Jameis Winston was and where they lived b/c they were called to their complex about the vandalism just 2 goddam weeks prior to the rape. The description provided by the victim of their complex, the mopeds out front that the suspects drove, the descriptions of the suspects including Winston and his unique features .... the cops had already seen it all before and were well aware of it.

Veldheer was a poor fit the last time he played RT fwiw (which was a while ago). He's not a mauler as he looks, much more finesse.

When was that? PFF has had him as a LT in all games played since 2010, his rookie year. And we're still toying on whether we'll keep him at LT and move Whitworth -- really strong as a run blocker, built more like a RT -- to RT. Either way, we have our bookends and feel good about them.

It was 10 iirc, the same year we had to watch him try to play C against the Titans. Nevertheless, yes, those are bookends to feel good about.

I think he would've been a rookie then. Strength and skill have obviously improved since then

but not the necessary demeanor. He doesn't play as a mauler despite his size and those larger base ends can take advantage of that. His skill has come on at LT, and you don't play LT the same as RT.

I'm looking to move my 5th-7th round picks as packages to move up in the draft. If anyone is looking to trade down, message me because I have a ton of picks (I think 16 total).

    I use the TVC

Also again, I'm still looking to move the following for a late draft pick: Ted Ginn, Lyle Sendlein, Drew Stanton, and Jerraud Powers. A 6th or 7th will do for any of these guys. Also, I'm still not looking to cut any of them because they all hold some dead cap, so I'm in no rush to cut anyone.

At the rate these O-linemen are going for, Im wondering why no one has contacted us about Breno and Anthony Collins. Two guys that could be had at a cheap price who are better than the current players that are being bid on.
