Where did I say that they suck? Yes, the Cavs are very good. Would I be surprised if they made the finals? Hell no.

Just saying...their body of work DID include their "Big 3"...and that body of work suggests they have issues rebounding and defending.

Cavs may make the Finals by default, but winning the whole thing is a different story

True. Their first year might end up like the Heat's first year.

Actually this Cavs team is much more deep than our first year, the big difference is I'll take 2010 Wade over Kyrie Shumpert and JR Smith together. But regardless of how great Wade was in 2010, to win championships you need a bench and we were not able to develop one until two years after when Ray and Bird joined. OKC was the match up we needed to win the following season period, if a deeper team faced us we would have been in trouble.

I mean our best lineup in 2010 was the Wade/Bosh/Miller/Lebron/Haslem lineup lol the guys behind them were terrible............... not even worthy of a roster spot except for maybe James Jones.... we had Eddy House that season for god's sakes lol

I never said you said anything. I was thinking the Cavs would need a year maybe two to get their team enough players to seriously contend but honestly they look like they will be in the Finals and I give them a very good chance against most every team in the West. If Lebron takes this team to a title I think he is in serious discussion for the best ever. I think he is making a serious case for MVP this season as well.

If LeBron gives that city a championship it will be hard to argue against that, his desire to play team basketball has taken a toll on those talks though. I doubt he ever is out ahead of MJ for that reason even if he wins 2-3 rings in Cle.

The Cavs are legit good but that doesn't mean playoff good. I know that LeBron can perform in the playoffs provided the air conditioning is working right.

But I won't believe guys like Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love (neither of whom have ever even been to the playoffs) will be playoff performers until I see it.

Shawn Marion, J.R. Smith and Anderson Varajao have significant playoff experience. Iman Shumpert and Timofey Mosgov have been there, though not enough to know what they're doing.

But the Cavs' first playoff game this year will also be the first ever for Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson and Matthew Dellavadova. They've got to be pretty nervous about that. Maybe that's why they convinced themselves that acquiring Moose ***** was a good move, given his experience.

One big difference between the teams....that Heat team defended from the get go. This Cavs team..not yet.

LeBatard ripped the hell out of the Dolphins organization yesterday when compared with the Heat. He said the Heat are always a pleasure to do business with while the Dolphins are a contaminated and toxic mess.

They deserve it. The Heat handle the press with aplomb. The Dolphins do not. There are consequences.

I can make a request of ANYBODY in the Heat organization and get an answer. Who knows...you might even get Riley, Spo or Arison....

With the Dolphins..all you get is constant excuses and straight up lies. They have ZERO interest in PR. Heat also has a very strict ALL ACCESS media policy for their players.

I'm pumped for this game tonight. What if Beasley had a Hassan whiteside turnaround? Like the dude had an epiphany in china and turned it all around? Lol, nah.

Heres hoping all 12 spatens aren't gone by the end of the game. There's a strong correlation between me drinking too much and a miami team loss.

It would be a hard sell to get me to put him above MJ but honestly if he wins 3 rings in Cleveland I would have to give it very serious thought.

If he wins 3 in Cleveland..that would make 5 wins overall and 8 finals appearances......1 less win than Jordan..but two more appearances.

When was it his fault that he lost? Only his first year in Miami, when Wade would have been Finals MVP, and Lebron was terrible.

I think his record in Finals..period...cannot be overlooked. he pulls that off...his resume is better than Jordan's. Skill wise..it is pretty close as to who is a more complete Basketball player.

That huge dude Ajinca is out there making some money while Anthony Davis is hurt. Reminds of Whiteside.

Not nearly as good of course, but huge dude comin from nowhere looking smooth and scoring a lot.

Give James Harden his f'n MVP. 15 points, 12 assists, 5 rebounds on one good leg.

Shoutout to Josh Smith, Terrence Jones, Jason Terry. We had no business winning this game. Great team win. Down all game...They didn't give up.

Of course I Harden at #2. He leads the league in win shares, minutes, points, and is an MVP candidate.
And, my guy at #35 just showed why I have him listed in my top 50. He can dominate games.

Bunch of terrible shots he takes... this guy has been known for high quality shots his whole career but sometimes he goes braindead and starts playing like Kobe and takes every contested shot in a fadeaway. Please stop doing that..

One thing that kind of disturbs me about Dragic is that... I see him getting trapped a lot... does he ever beat his defender off the dribble? He gets trapped one on one and then he's forced to pass it out.. We have to heavily rely on Wade to penetrate because Dragic just can't beat his man.

By very definition....he is not getting trapped if it's "one on one".

Teams are trapping high on him to get the ball out of his hands. Spo used Wade to defeat that strategy, and it blew up in his face with a bad Wade shooting game.

Dragic got his, and he is penetrating plenty. He just needs to learn to read the screens on this team and more importantly..get used to them. Guy is out there with literally, no playbook, and a handful of called plays.

Bro, dragic did so much damage tonight. We wouldn't have been in the game without him. Coast to coast is so common with him it could've been his nickname.

Didn't like the final shot, especially being down 2 and dwade not being even close to consistent at 3...but it's dwade, he can't do wrong in my book. Went for the kill on these scrubs.

Henry, bill, whatever, I like this guy for now.

Chalmers still the weakest link wherever we put him.

Whiteside gonna Whiteside, but with 1 foul he should've been more aggressive on d for sure.

God deng luol is stepping the **** up. Honestly would've rather he gotten a look at the end. Great signing.

Bbbbbbbb b easy. Looked confident with that sweet stroke. Like, too confident.

That's a bad loss. When you get New Orleans minus Anthony Davis, you gotta take that. Blew a double-digit lead, mental breakdowns, ugh.

Bird got worked in the paint, just completely. Chalmers' defense (of all things) in the last period was awful, as was Whiteside's. Suddenly they just let up easy buckets. Wade will be fine long-term, but yeah right now his shot selection and stroke are brutal - and I mean he dribbled off his foot with the game on the line...damn. Walker is a bright spot, yes. After we signed Dragic and before Bosh went down I said all this team needed was a bench guy who could shoot...and here we found one...just no Bosh. Ergh.

That was a rough. Should've won that game.

Bird's defense was atrocious last night.

    Ajinca just ate him alive.

We lost the game on defense. Yes, that last play was terrible but we were oy in that position because of defense
