Realistically teams don't trade half their roster either. I think hometown discount goes out the window with that.

Similarly teams with such roster turnover do not become the best teams in the league.

Was simply crediting Alex for a good idea, that imo should Atleast be considered.

It has been like every year. It just doesn't make sense to have a player be loyal in an environment that shows no loyalty... The GML.

Rahim Moore is on his rookie contract and by all accounts likely to leave. I think you'd have to set a year minimum on it if one even went down this route. As stated by Stitches and Griddles more or less, it doesn't fit in a league predicated on movement and activity of players.

I think the 10% rule isn't enough to effect the numbers that much and adds dome more realism to the league, which is the goal I think.

I mean, we can use the "yea but" theory for every rule that has been thrown in the last couple of seasons I think.

Well for one everyone thanks for liking the idea or giving constructive criticism on it. It literally just popped into mind reading the post Van wrote and I went with it.

My question is this: Isn't the point to make the game more realistic? If so shouldn't we implement rules that make it that way? Dead cap was good this year on this site as it stopped a lot of trading for players and flipping them over ten times. I personally wouldn't mind full dead cap penalties on all trades, because its much more realistic. The number of moves may go down but I believe more time would be spent constructing deals.

The Broncos are in a bad way with their cap situation trying to resign everyone. It's a money move as well as the fact that they already have multiple pro bowl players in their secondary. In other words...the team is letting him walk. He isn't walking because from all accounts the team is not pursuing him.

Transition tag on Clay in real life. I said it was likely he was going to get Delanie Walker money.

Actually Walker's yearly avg is fairly low. He could get Jared Cook money. Hopefully a bit less then that.

Question, if the re-sign players go 24 hours after someone bid on hem do they sign with that team, similar to cut FA? Or would these bids just be th opening bid for when real FA rolls around?

Looking to sell off some pieces

Ziggy Hood( fits well in a one gap role) not looking for much
Red Bryant (nice reliable veteran) not looking for much either.
Demetrius McCray (young cheap cb, we're too crowded right now for him. Would take a late pick for him or a young backup in return)
Will Blackmon (cheap veteran option 986,000)

Packers are happy to announce the addition of Roy Miller to the defensive line. One of the strongest players in the NFL, I actually drafted him back when he was just a puppy. Good run defender. He'll be thrown into the mix at our nose tackle rotation with Mike Big Mutha****a Pennell.

Really? No 24 hour rule? Crap. Missed that. Never would have put them up. Why call this a re-sign period then. Anyone you want to re-sign would be more at risk? *baffled*

So. Basically I get penalized for putting him up for a large number early instead of putting him on minimum, wait for that quick initial bid and drop the hammer then.
