Bring him in at about 4M a year...I'm all for it. His work ethic will be contagious.

I think at this stage of his career, Johnson would probably be looking to play for a team with a legitimate chance of winning a SB.

That is not the Dolphins and therefore I think it is more likely he will end with a team like the Patriots, Seahawks, Cowboys, or one of the other top teams which have an opportunity to win the SB next year.

IF we get rid of Wallace I do believe we will need to add a proven veteran and I think Andre would be the ideal fit. Now if Wallace stays we must go draft to fill the current need at WR and hopefully round 1. Wallace will be gone next year that is a certainty. He may be gone this year so let's pretend he is. I'd look to sign Andre and still get a WR early in the draft. Having a local guy back in town to mentor Jarvis/Rookie and Co. Also provide a veteran leader who loves the city would be great.

I would not like us to keep Wallace and Sign Andre to address WR. The draft needs to be centered around finding a WR if it isn't round 1 hopefully it's early.

Does anyone know the difference in cap between Wallace and Andre contracts? Could a trade be possible?

I love Andre. Guy is one of the hardest working players in the league and hes still got something left in that tank. One of my favorite non dolphin players

Even at his age, he immediately becomes their best player on offense.

As was said, he'll likely want to catch on with a top tier team, and thats not us. He'll have choices.

Instead of Suh, how about Johnson 4M, Rolle 4M, Gore 3M... there's some leadership.

This might sound crazy, but we could try and get Reggie Wayne for an 8-ball of coke with Jim Ersay's name on it (if it's big enough).

If there is cap room left for this move half way through free agency, which wouldn't be good, then WTH....but it wouldn't be the answer to anything going forward.

Also would make our team significantly older....

He believes he's a starter and wants t be paid that way. The year before, he had 1,407 yards and the year before that 1,598. Last year with that carousel at QB he still had 936. No way he takes $4 million.
