it would not surprise me to see us strike out on any impact players and finish last in the division, but I hope that lowering my expectations will mean we will finish in 2nd place in the afc east.

Can't believe another star player was traded into the division. What next Pats get Adrian Peterson? Ugh

There's a silver lining to Marshall to the Jets... they no longer have a big need at WR in the draft, makes our chance of trading up for Cooper or White more likely. Downside is that the Bears now have a need at WR, but I think they go defense with their first pick.

    Well away from here
I think you go after none of the afore mentioned players. Find someone with a little speed like a Randall Cobb etc. that would be my play. You don't the receiver to be all world, get someone capable to handle a depth role primarily but who has enough juice to get the job done.

If you could somehow get Crabtree in here it would be a great fit witchin the offense.

AFC East looks like its lining up to be a powerhouse division.

Great talent but uncoachable especially with a weak character like Philbin.I am guessing he ends up with the Raiders who have the cap space and are used to handling problem players.

Ha! Marshall will come to the sideline and choke Geno out by week 4. Book it.

Seeing Brandon Marshall being trade to the Jets is like seeing a gun handed to a Stormtrooper. It only seems bad until you realize that Marshall isn't going to be used right.

Brandon Marshall is notorious for being the best player on a bad team. He is like the all-star from The Minnesota Twins every season that HAS to be there. Everyone knows he really isn't as good as advertised, but someone has to be the highlight.

Probably the only true way to get the team back to respectability. Betting the farm on one guy (Suh) when we have as many holes as we do seems silly

Was that the year he caught 100 passes for 1,295 yards and 12 td's or the year he caught 118 for 1,508 and 11 td's? Guy amassed over 1,000 yards two years in a row with Chad Henne throwing him the ball. How can you call him overrated with a straight face?

I had him overrated before he got here, overrated while he was here, and was happy to get rid of him...he has 2 huge flaws in his game, he needs an inordinate amount of targets to get his production, and 2, he's as slow as balls man...he absolutely does not demand double coverage...grimes covered him easily one on one...he a come back to the qb type receiver, he can box you out and go up and get it, but his route tree is limited..I say this relatively speaking, which in this case, the amount of hype this guy gets, he's totally not worth it..

Worth what you guys gave up for him? Probably not. Worth a 5th rounder? I think so.

Bickety! Thought there was some Revis thing going on?

As for Marshall, he is the modern Terrel Owens, good to great WR just anti nfl culture type

You lost me on the Revis thing, lol.

I'm not doing backflips over Marshall. I do think he is an improvement over Harvin, but at the end of the day the Jets need to figure out the QB problem. I think they will end up in a position to either draft Mariotta or trade the pick to the Eagles for Foles and draft picks. If only Geno could play like the last game of the 2014 season every game!
