Does the Bradford trade mean no Mariota for Eagles? I want to know so the Jets can be screwed out of getting Mariota/Winston.
They should have worked out a deal for Gibson. He is a big athletic target who fights in close combat.
Trigger in trade that if Bradford is not starter for 8 games, Eagles get 2nd rounder back. So yeah, Kelly is putting his chips on the Bradford train. Weird.
I seriously hope and pray that the Jets draft Mariotta. He's not going to be as bad as Geno Smith but it will be close.
Great, if you only need one guard. There is only one "potential" (emphasis on "potential") player worth starting at OG on this roster - even with Smith - Turner. Could be a good one but still an unknown. Smith is not starting calibre. Dallas Thomas is not practice squad calibre.
The question people need to ask is how important to offense is the tight end position? Yes Clay is a good player, but is he what this offense needs? Or can Hoskins and Sims man the position given what the offense asks of it. I don't recall any Oregon tight end being great, nor any player being special or outstanding in Chip Kelly's time in Philly. Would the potential second rounder be more valuable for a team looking to add cheaper talent? Or for a move up in the draft to grab a receiver for instance - like Amari Cooper.
I thought from the beginning that we wouldn't land Suh and I'm even more convinced that we won't. Sucks too because I really wanted him.
Well there is this, FWIW: Omar Kelly*โ@OmarKelly**4 minutes ago "@3_three7: so clear the rumors will suh sign tonight or... is there an issue with the terms/cap"ยป No issue. Probably signing tomorrow And Raiders are grabbing Roy Helu now. Either way I'm with you... uneasy until ink is on paper
