That is crazy. I would have been all over that if I was running a 3-4. I was actually thinking about it but only if I could get the D coordinator I wanted.
I forgot Mike Tolbert is one of the greatest backs to ever play in recent memory. His Carry to TD ratio was INSANE!
The Buccaneers would like to welcome two new players, WR Eddie Royal and RB Knowshon Moreno. Royal, 28, has spent the past three years in San Diego, and before that he started his career in Denver alongside QB Jay Cutler. Last year Eddie caught 62 passes for 778 yards and 7tds. The last time the two were united Royal had 91 receptions for 980 yards and 5tds. He also can be a big factor on special teams as a return man. He will be the frontrunner for the slot receiver position, with phenom Mike Evans as the primary receiver, and Marvin Jones and Donnie Avery filling in as the 3rd and 4th options. Moreno, 27, played in only three games with the Miami Dolphins, due to a shoulder injury and an ACL injury, but the year before when the lead back in Denver he rushed for over 1000 yards and 10tds. While our expectations are tempered with his injury history in mind, considering that Denver was not as effective running the ball after Moreno left, and considering that we now have a deep 3-man rotation of Moreno, Ivory, and Sims, with a 4th (Dan Herron) coming in a pending transaction and a 5th, Bobby Rainey, tendered, we expect Moreno to be the finishing touch on what could be the best RB committee in football.
Matt Asiata sounds like an Italian dish. And then there's a poster named pizza. This thread is making me hungry.
Hey since Finnegan retired can I get back my dead money? K, thanks. Tag/Tendered players, cap casualties.
I'm not into giving up draft picks and a big salary and there will be limited cap casualties moving forward.
I doubt anybody is happy about any of the remaining price tags. Some teams will be getting some highly unwarranted comp picks
Everyone give me your picks or else Ill bid on your tendered player and theyll retire before you can answer.
Packers would like to announce the following players have been signed... LB Obrien Schofield - he'll be looking to add himself to the mix at the pass rushing linebacker/end rotation. Seemed to play fairly well when given the opportunity with the Seahawks recently. RB Darren McFadden - it only seems like he's been in the league forever.. only 27. When healthy, he can be a dynamic piece to the puzzle that is the Packers offense. Yet another screen pass catching back. I believe we now have an even 30 running backs on the roster.... this running back competition is going to be tough.
one out of 44 according to PFF last season. It's okay... you're upset that he's no longer a Raider... what are you going to do with that #20 jersey?
I didn't realize his entire career was 1 season, silly me. People, there's more than 1 season of PFF to use when you're evaluating players. I realize y'all love groupthink and being spoonfed information, but really, it's okay to think outside the box and for yourselves.
Don't think I need to go beyond last season in terms of what you said and proving it an exaggeration.
Heh I never claimed Miami was much of a difference. We seem to have that same issue to with players getting out of here and playing better.
The jaguars Gm has been a little under the weather. But, we'd like to welcome our franchise QB, Ryan Mallet. Wait, let me say that again, we'd like to the welcome to the franchise, QB, Ryan Mallet. He will be given every chance to win the starting job! Jaguars would also like to welcome TE, Lance Knedricks, he'll mainly work as a blocker, but is a big target in the red zone.
