I like what has been accomplished to this point. I am curious how they will use the existing cap space.
I'm sure I'll be in the minority here and I'll be accused of being a pessimist, but I look at these moves and here's what I see - They have replaced one monstrous free agent contract with another. I just don't see how spending that much money on a DT will result in a big enough impact in terms of Wins and Losses to mitigate the effect that contract will have on the cap. They replaced an over payed but productive WR with a cheap WR who didn't set the world on fire playing in one of the best offenses in the league. I'm waiting to see if they keep Clay before commenting on Cameron. I like Cameron as a low risk, upside addition. But if they have to cut bait with Clay because of it, it's a gamble. Philbin is still the guy in charge of this roster. Hard to get excited about that. As always, I expect the worst but hope for the best. Some will say that makes me a bad fan.
