Here's to hoping Suh likes chips.

Suh's going to get paid a LOT of money. From what I've seen and heard he's not the sort of guy who lacks motivation so there's not the fear his production will drop because of the fat check. However, a thought just occurred to me. There's a lot of talk out there right now that the Dolphins will overpay; that he won't be worth whatever it is they finally throw at him. Here's my hope - that Suh hears this, he hears the media talk smack about him on a bad day, talking about how he's not living up to his money, and then, having heard that, he'll go out there on the field and play with a chip on his shoulder.

And preferably, twice a year, that chip on his shoulder will be named Tom Brady. :D

All this^ I am SO looking forward to our D-line busting the Pats up, and the Bills, and the Jets. But especially the Pats. I expect that particular chip you mentioned to have cleat marks by the end of the game.

While I like the signing, I want to know whos playing safety and who's our second starting cornerback.. Miami was so easy to pick apart over the middle the Linebackers got beat often by tight ends and quick slants 24/7... Glad he's here but we got lots of holes to fill before we take on new england..

He will be the Highest paid DT in the NFL this year, and I heard the 4th highest as well, because Detroit still has cap money going to him?

    over there
    I see it this way:
If ANY other team had signed him. It would have been considered one of the biggest FA pickups in the last decade, that team is SB bound, what a great addition, etc...
    Since it's the Dolphins?
He's going to be a slacker, he ain't worth the money, they will be in salary cap hell for 100 years...Well, you get the point.

Don't let media outlets, websites, or moron opinions sway you into thinking this is the worse FA pickup since Eric Greene for us.
This is a good move, We sheded some big contracts and created a center piece on D for us to build around for the next several years.

He better get at least 10 sacks.. if he can't manage that with Suh and Wake, then he's not as good as we think.
