Depth is signing JD Walton. And that's where I'm worried about the direction we're going with this position. I think we need to look at a guy who can start at RG. Not just a backup to Billy Turner because Billy Turner is a known, bona fide starter in the NFL. Allocate some monetary resources and sign a more proven guy....and if Billy Turner beats him out on merit, then awesome! Not yet it isn't. But if your answer at depth is JD Walton, and Billy Turner busts, then yes it is. Still a long way to go...so we'll see
Well first thing, cut Dallas Thomas! this guy just plain stinks. Cant play guard and cant play tackle. Next bring in like 5 more guards and throw em out til you find a couple that can actually play the position! Seriously though, I worry that our holes at guard are a bigger problem than the problems we have at Wide Receiver. If you cant hold your blocks long enough for the QB to make a throw it doesn't matter who you have at receiver.
what games did you see him in?? He was inactive for the first 14 of 2014 and played 17 snaps the last game according to rotoworld http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/9564/billy-turner Dallas Thomas http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/8514/dallas-thomas
I'm pretty torn about our first pick. Im between WR, Safety, CB or LB. At this point grab the best player left at those positions. But we really need to grab the best G available by round two. How long has it been that we've been complaining about this OL. I'm not down on the Mathis trade, he's 34 although a good player but I'm not willing to give up that much youth in D Jordan. I don't know what we're gonna do with Jordan but we moved up to get him I gotta get back a bit more for him
we are going to pick a linemen with our first pick. Since signing Crabtree today, wr is off the board, unless something crazy happens and there is someone there we just can not pass by
I don't see any news on Crabtree being signed. And if he does sign I still want a WR at some point in the draft. I don't like him, he's looked like a shell of himself last year.
