You're better than that Rafael. Dallas committed to the run and did it better- you're not one of those idiots who makes a habit of manipulating stats, but from the data I'm referencing the Cowboys averaged 4.6 yards per rush versus 4.5 yards the year before, 16 TDs versus 12. They were so dominant during some games last year (I watched some of it and was quite impressed) that they used the running game to batter opponents into submission and then to run out the clock they ran some more- doesn't it logically follow that if you're winning big and running out the clock that your ypc will suffer because in that garbage time the entire planet knows that you're going to run the ball, the box is stacked and you're just looking to run the clock and hopefully moves the chains? It's garbage time, and that sample of stats will pollute the whole. Don't let stat monkey half logic rule the day.

The Dallas OL DOMINATED last year with Martin at Guard and of course Smith/Free at OT and Frederick at Center. I think that Brian Waters was the othe Guard, a player that we should have picked up a few years ago. They rolled over people, and Zack Martin contributed heavily to that OL domination. Again, ther's no mystery or conspiracy as to why he was named first team all-pro.

You're right to believe that yards per carry, alone, isn't sufficient to capture that part of the game. However, there are statistics that incorporate those situations into an overall measure of the effectiveness of a team's running game.

Yes in college his senior year. 16th out of everybody is decent. Would get most drafted

Considered a four-star recruit by Rivals.com,[3] Pouncey was listed as the No. 16 offensive guard in the nation in 2007.[4] He chose Florida over offers from Florida State, Clemson, Miami and Michigan.

Tyson is the best left tackle in the game, and imo it isn't close.

I'm saying that w the limited resources at hand I'd rather add a MLB, CB, Pass rusher, RB or WR with our top draft picks.

When I had checked their stats at one point last season their YPC was lower than the previous year. I hadn't checked it at the end. My bad. But when I saw Dallas last year I thought they should be running more b/c their run game was strong (and their defense needed protection). So even if their YPC improved 0.1 it doesn't change my opinion that they could have achieved the same results with a 4.5 YPC average. The run game doesn't go from being poor at 4.5 to dominant at 4.6. I stand by my opinion that the biggest difference far and away was the commitment to the run.

It was Ronald Leary and if he'd been on the Dolphins would have been their 2nd best OL. He was merely 5th best on the Cowboys line.

Weak. You keep professing all the same stuff, but offer no source that supports your opinions.
