As soon as I heard his voice, I was like "I know him from somewhere. What's he been in? He looks familiar too... Trevor? Holy **** that's Trevor!"

I would totally love it if they gave him a part in this show, even if it's only a recurring role once in awhile. Maybe let him play a henchman for Saul, like Kuby and Hule. Could play foil to Mike too. Stephen Egg can definitely bring the lulz. Speaking of Kuby and Hule... Are Bill Burr/Kuby and Hule coming back? I can't imagine both wouldn't be interested...

I thought the whole prequel so far was good .It introduces us to Sauls background and why he became what he is...was later on.I also like Mikes intro. He is bad *** corrupt cop who can handle his business very well. I have to admit I am hooked and its already on my top 5 favorite TV series at this point.

Better Call Saul is great, and it makes me feel bad for Saul. Makes me look at his character in a different light

Space blanket is an elitist prick. I don't like Hamlin, but I don't dislike him as much knowing he is possibly just covering (or at least was mostly covering initially).

    totally him

EDIT... hah... it is actually him, didn't know it was the actor that played Trevor, who knew the video game actually depicts the actor's look as well?

I wonder what Hamlin said to Kim behind closed doors.

"Trevor", was named Sobcheck as a nod to The Big Lebowski. The character is very roughly based on Walter in spirit, according to the writers. His name was never mentioned on screen, but that may not be the last time we see him in the series.

Jonathan Banks, the actor that plays Mike... he's 68 now. Still a ****ing bad ***. I've seen him in real life at the airport (long time ago).

I presume he told her that the decision not to hire Jimmy was Chuck's and not his.

That's why she went to tell Jimmy to take the deal but also wouldn't tell him what Hamlin told her or offered her. She didn't want to hurt him by revealing the news about Chuck.

I don't think it's a friend's place to reveal something like that which might destroy the relationship between two brothers.

Jimmy might not have even believed it anyway, if it was just coming from Hamlin. He had to discover and deal with it himself.

Don't think you could ask for a better set up season for Saul.

I was extremely worried about this show and thought it, like most spin offs, wouldn't live up to the original but I really really enjoyed it. Can't wait for Season 2.

I think it's been good, but it's not in the same stratosphere as Breaking Bad. Whether that means it has lived up to the original is open to debate. To me, it doesn't have the same impact.

I think we need to give it more time to truly judge it.

I'm a big Breaking Bad fan but I will say that overall the first season of Better Call Saul was much better than the first season of Breaking Bad. I struggled big time trying to stay interested in the show and actually gave up on it 3 episodes in only to be talked back into finishing the season and watch the 2nd season before giving up on it completely by a friend. I know my wife also had the same problem with the 1st season of BB as well and started to love the show during the 2nd season.

We wrapped up watching this yesterday. Probably the best new show of the season. I think it's a beautifully shot and poignant character study that, in a lot of ways, is actually more interesting than Breaking Bad. I really enjoyed it.

What do you think about this season. Its dragging a bit for me. The best part for me is when Mike is on scene .

Mike's side story is saving this season. Jimmy is taking too long to become Saul.

Mike is the best... although there's not much of a mystery there in terms of his future. We know he survives whatever battles are going to occur. The mystery is surrounding Kim Wexler. Her name / character never came up in BB.

It's definitely worth watching... all the little easter eggs tying to BB are fun.

I like Saul a lot. Very enjoyable. I may like it as much as BB. I thought BB, like SoA and TWD, was/is a bit overrated. Less so than SoA and def less so than TWD, but I never got the hysteria for any of them. Never got why people thought Cranston's character was so bad ***, when there were better characters in the show, like Mike and Gus. The best thing about BB was that it was just air-tight writing and story telling. No holes, no flaws, a top notch production.

Enjoyed both season's thoroughly though, and looking forward to wherever this goes. One thing I'll say, Vince isn't likely to let us down.

I don't understand how BB can be considered overrated. This show was ****ing amazing. Characters, character development, humor, drama, plot, acting, directing, cinematography, etc... This show was as complete as any show in TV history. There isn't a single bad episode, IMO. And the best part? It didn't overstay its welcome like so many other hit TV shows. Not to mention as satisfying finale. Breaking Bad is without a doubt, a top 5 all-time show. It's so good in fact, there was a spin off created for another character (Saul), and features another (Mike). And BCS is pretty good too... That's greatness. In my mind, only 'The Wire' bests it. Game of Thrones may overtake both, depending on how it all ends, but as far as completed TV series goes, 1). The Wire 2). Breaking Bad.

As far as Walter goes, he was an awesome character. He's not bad ***. He wants to be bad ***. He wants to be respected, he wants to be superior, he doesn't want to be himself. It's part of the tragedy of the character. And the evolution of WW is like nothing we've ever seen on TV. From hero to villain. It's incredible how seamlessly it was pulled off. No "several years later..." time jumps where the character transforms off screen. We see his descent, every step of the way, all the overt and subtle changes, until the end.

That's what makes Walter White an amazing character. In fact, from what I've read, Vince G. wants to do the same with Jimmy. Saul Goodman is meant to be the tragic fall of Jimmy McGill, not his saving grace.

Sibling rivalry, and Mike is gun shy. That's the finale. The show is getting better.
