I didn't even look at the Heat lineup. And Haslem has barely played, so it's virtually 5. Gotta love these end of season games.

That game had No semblance of "tanking". Both teams played hard as hell. Heat played 6 guys total, and played 4 of them all 48 minutes. LOL
Now we just need nothing crazy to happen in the lottery. I'm not going to exhale until that happens because it's been that kind of season. Of course, good old Adam Silver could give the Heat a couple extra ping pong balls (I know it's not like that anymore) and give the Heat a break in getting a top 3 pick considering they've been jumped the last two times they were in the lottery and they were one of the teams trying hardest NOT to tank.
It was nice to see Zoran out there doing some good things, and having a big game. Yes, it's the 76ers B squad, but he still performed well and showed some flashes of his brother.
Well I was as all geared up, as a Spurs fan, to see SA plough their way to the WCF from any seed in the West. Now we are up against the Clippers without HCA In beginning to second guess that notion. On a separate note, though, the ENTIRE Southwest are in the playoffs! The Spurs finished fifth in the league and are placed sixth in the West. Someone please change the playoff format.
Since there's one Spurs video already posted, here's another:
For as much as I like the Spurs as a class organization, It'd be absolutely crazy if it later came out that Duncan or Parker, Ginobili or Kawhi were in fact a serial killer or international drug-lord all along. I mean, Greg Popovich would be the last person I'd imagine embroiled in a child porn scandal. Not to blaspheme, because I really do love that franchise.
I think it will be. Seems to be pretty deep. My top choices if they pick at 10 would be Stanley Johnson, Mario Hezonja, Sam Dekker, Kelly Oubre, Frank Kaminsky, and Willie Cauley-Stein. If they win the lotto, my guy would be D'Angelo Russel. I think he's got some Steph Curry in him.
Most years the NBA draft has a huge drop off after the first 4 or 5. This year there seems to be a few tiers. You got a few at the top like Russel (probably my favorite as well), then a second tier who's a step above the usual post top tier 1st rounder that gets you to about 10. If we get lucky we have a chance to add a big impact player, but even if we don't we ca add a player with more potential impact than we usually get from our first rounder.
Would be cool if we can somehow get in the Top 3.... Though I doubt the league will fix the lottery for us like they did for the Bulls (Rose) and Cleveland recently. lol
Yeah, I think (assuming we keep our pick and don't get jumped) the Heat got a little bit lucky that this was the year they happened to get in the lottery. I also think the strengths of this draft match up nicely with what the Heat need. There are a lot of good wings and a lot of good bigs. I have a feeling Riley is going to really like Dekker. He seems to fit the Mike Miller mold a little bit. He also obviously likes bigs (and experience) so Kaminsky and Cauley-Stein should be in play. I really hope he doesn't rule out Hezonja just because he's European because from everything I've read about him, he could be very, very good. I like Oubre's potential, but I'm not sure Riley will want to take a project like him, although he can shoot so he could play right away. One name that could also be a wildcard could be Kevon Looney. There are some Lamar Odom comparisons with him, and we know Riley had an infatuation with Odom since he was at Rhode Island.

First rd pro-Dik-chins Hawks ov Nets 5 Cle ov Boston 4 Chi ov Mill 5 Wiz ov Tor 7 GS ov NO 5 Hou ov Dall 7 SA ov LAC 6 Mem ov Por 7 Flame away!!
Not sure if the Wizards are trying to play basketball or they think its volleyball. Some stupid ugly shots in the first quarter. Trying to bounce the ball in the basket like five times in a row at one point. Wth
I'm more of an anti-dik-chin guy myself, but here are my picks: Hawks in 5 Cavs is 6 Bulls in 5 Raptors in 7 Warriors in 4 Mavs in 7 Spurs in 5 Grizzlies in 6
Warriors are just on a different league compared to the Pelicans... They quickly turned a 7 point game to a 17 point game in like 2.5 minutes.. that's just too much..
Neither the Rockets or the Mavericks are getting past the second round... these two teams play some amateur at best defense.
I think that comeback could have been the worst thing for the Pels. Going into Game 2 GS might have overlooked them a bit. They won't now. You could see it on Curry's face at the end of the game. Even though they won, they weren't happy. Next time they get a lead, they're not going to be that careless.
Irving didn't look like he has any playoff hiccups. Just one game but he looked lights out. The Cavs are playing well at the right time.
I would argue that the comeback was the best thing that could happen for the Pels. They were gettin beat down severely and persevered and almost won. All with their starting point guard in the locker room with a knee injury. This is extremely valuable for the Pels confidence.
Cavs have the easiest first round match up. That series is also over in 4. When your best scorer is Isaiah youre not going far. Hell its embarassing they made the playoffs over us.
