Having a good stunt crew doesn't mean fight scenes were shot well and same with cinematography and visual effects. Both could could be given with terrible fight scene shots. The bold part, is an agree to disagree. I like knowing what is going on and enjoying the choreography. Kind of like on Daredevil or the Raid. Fight scenes, in my opinion, were the worst part of part 1 and part 2. Part 3 has a lot of more problems. Movies are entertainment, not a fighting how to.
Honestly, they in some ways made the main villain..likable..and very relatable. I liked Wesley a lot too, I was..well..disappointed...yunno. Anyways, I enjoyed their dynamic. In terms of how they handled it, it was pretty unique. I think Arrow made Slade Wilson more tragic than necessary, and that might be the closest thing and it's not really that close. I have no idea where they go next, I really hope there's a next (I guess that depends on Netflix viewings? and DVD sales?) but I'm excited at how they would handle Elektra, the Hand, etc.
Jessica Jones is next. Then there is Iron First and Power Man/Luke Cage. I don't remember where I read it so I might be talking out of my butt, however a second season of Daredevil might come out before Iron Fist and Luke Cage or come out right after. Depending on the success of this season.
I binge-watched the series the weekend it came out and I freaking loved it. I never really liked the comic book Daredevil but this version really hooked me. But the best part of the whole series was Vincent D'Onforio's Wilson Fisk. Oh my God, it was like he stepped right out of the pages of the comic books and came to life. Best villain yet in any Marvel property. Can't wait for AKA Jessica Jones.
Comicbookmovies.com had a report that Daredevil and co might appear in Avengers Infinity Wars Part 2, extent of the role not known. But that's not till like 2019. I'm hoping for Daredevil and Spidey interaction if nothing else. That would satisfy my inner geek tons.
If they can get Daredevil and Spider-Man fighting the Punisher, then the Marvel cinematic universe could officially end, there'd be nothing else left to show.
Loving this so far. Agree whoever said the fight scene at the end of episode 2 was great. Not to say it was super realistic, because let's face it, there is nothing realistic about a blind dude kicking the **** out of 10-15 dudes, but it did add an element of realism the way the bad guys kept getting back up. Because it really is a lot harder than movies and TV typically make it look to knock someone out.
thought the series started slow but really enjoyed the last 3-4 episodes. and Netflix orders Season 2 !!
