Beat me by seconds, Rocky! Don't you know who the king of schedule day is! ;)

Also, Titans/Bucks week 1, so our opponents week 1 are shrinking. Won't be NE, NYJ, NYG, DAL, or TEN. Aqua's pick of Buffalo is looking strong ATM.

GB at CHI is week 1 as well.

Haha, sorry man. My family is all Giants fans. So to see that pop up as a Monday night game got me excited.

KC @ CIN for the first half of the MNF DH.

We are also reaching the point where leaks are coming fast and furious. I would expect a full team schedule leak in the next hour.

Lots of Bears and Bucs leaks at the moment.

    4:42 Edit -

SD/OAK on Christmas Eve. Which means KC/DEN is likely to be a TNF on the CBS side of the schedule.

    Thanksgiving is set.

    Denver at Detroit
    Carolina at Dallas
    Chicago at Green Bay

CBS IS getting a week 1 doubleheader for the first time in a decade. BAL/DEN will be the main afternoon game that day.

With NE, PIT, CINCY, KC, BAL, and DEN out of the way. MIA/WAS could be the lead early game week 1.

Though some are saying it will be the Eagle at Detroit.

Scratch that, seems more likely to be Eagles/Lions on Thanksgiving. Boo, not nearly as good.

Also SF in the back half of the MNF DH week 1.

Looks like KC/CIN was also untrue and it'll be PHI/ATL in the early MNF.

Awful, awful week 1 games so far.

Yeah, the initial leak all day was Denver, Detroit beat writers have swithed to banging the Denver drub to the Philla drum.

Could honestly be either at this point. The leaks have been fewer and more contradictory this year. Twitter is ruining this day. Lots of kids and/or idiots are making fake schedules, circulating them, and through a game of modern day telephone it's getting around that parts of that schedule are real. Frustrating.

Beasley saying "he's heard" only two PT games for Miami, including the TNF game. If that's true, man, that's a giant slap across the face. That would be week 14 against the Giants and then a TNF game somewhere. No extra MNF, no SNF. It would be shocking, truly.

Didn't Miami only have 2 primetime games last year?

They're never on SNF. Since NBC started it in 2006, they played Pitt in '06 and I think the Jets in 2010? SNF was terrible last year, so many blowouts. I just watch Walking Dead/Homeland anyway, I didn't watch a single SNF game, just flipped to it to see scores.

That's a tough one. Essentially 7 of the first 9 games are on the road because that home game vs Jets is in London. Then December games with a lot of home games, but against the toughest opponents. Yikes.

And that stretch, week 8 through 10, three straight road games....

The schedule stars off pretty favorable, but that ending stretch... damn. That's rough.

With the Tennessee game Oct 18th, that makes for perfect driving weather for me and the wife (titans fan), so, I'm pretty sure we're going to make the road trip for that one!

    That mid-stretch is BRUTAL.

Even if the team does its job and wins 4 or 5 out of the first 6, we're still going to have a short week to travel to NE for a Thursday game, then on the road at BUF, then on the road at Philly, then home to play the Cowboys.

Is this the most lopsided schedule in team history? Its like something Madden would make up. That week 8-10 road trip will determine whether December matters. Really, every game after week six could be against a playoff contender. At least the first six are all winnable games (not that I assume any game is a win, just that we shoulnd't be a clear underdog). Better make hay while we can.

I like this schedule. 4 of the last 5 games at home. I also like the fact we get Giants and Cowboys at home, just because that rarely happens.

We get yet another shot at Houston, at home no less. Would love to finally beat that team.

I'm also glad we're getting Buffalo games early. They've been a thorn lately.

The schedule really does get tougher as it goes on. It's like a video game.

Of course, no one knows how it will play out, but on paper, September is favorable and it gets tougher from there and ends with a tough December.

This schedule sets up well for a great start. Last 4-5 at home is solid. Let's hope Indy has one of the top 2 seeds wrapped up by that game. Either way they don't scare me at home.

Also it's time to beat the GD Ravens...really sick of that team.

Considering the December swoons under Joe Philbin...that's looking like an, um, interesting stretch of December games. 2014 Playoff teams - Ravens, Patriots, Colts. 2013 playoff team - Chargers. 2011 Super Bowl Champs - Giants.

And they get the Bills at Miami in September...and they put it at 4:25. Just one 1pm game in Miami in September/October.
