Lurking in the shadows mostly. The video game deal season brought me out into the light of day though. Hope you and yours enjoy the Wii U. Nothing makes a childhood memory like waking up to find something like a Wii U under the tree rather than a pair of knitted socks lol. Plus, on top of that, you chose a great time to buy. Congrats man, hope you all enjoy.

Really Nice Humble Bundle from Square Enix with more games to be added soon: https://www.humblebundle.com/
http://kotaku.com/rockstar-sale-three-civ-games-in-one-and-more-deals-1689176635 Sales on Rockstar and Civ bundles. I was so excited to see the Civ Bunldle for $17, thinking that if they were selling a download that it would be compatible with newer computers, but no. XP only. I really miss those games. Still, if you have an XP machine running, its quite the bargin for the full versions of all the games.
I don't have 3 anymore (lost it in a move somewhere along the way), but I can say with absolute certainty that 4 will not. 5 would still require broadband, I suspect though. Really, I was excited about being able to play 4 again mostly, though I'd take 3 if I could get it. EDIT: Several sites, including Amazon, cite 3 as working with XP and earlier only. Perhaps win 7 Pro (with XP emulation) would play them, but I have home.
Just saw this bro my bad!! We use the wiiU daily. Whether to watch Netflix or play Mario 3D which I find incredibly fun to play !! Mario kart tournaments happen weekly too haha. Great fun. Good to see you posting hope all is well with you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Target has Buy 1, get a second 50% off on most games this week. I was already buying The Show, so I think I'll also pick up Type-0 while I'm there for $30.
Full list right here http://www.target.com/sb/video-game...ustom_price=false&min_price=from&max_price=to Typical selection for PS and XBOX. Hardly anything for Wii U unsurprisingly.
I know this is a Video Games Deals Thread, but I figured I'd post this here because its helluva deal - Kindle Fire HD7 for $80

Was about to buy Origins, but will just wait for bigger discount or version with all the DLC. I haven't beat the other two yet anyways.

Best Buy has a sale going on, same as last year, where if you trade in Madden 15, you get a credit ($15 for last gen, $20 for current gen), plus a $10 coupon towards Madden 16. I did it today, so I essentially get the game half off when its released in a few weeks. I'm not sure what Gamestop offers these days, since its a fraction of what it used to be, but $30 is a good deal.
If you're a rewards member you should get a $10 gift certificate for pre-ordering, and as a GCU member you could get it for $48 (before even the $20 trade-in credit or $10 coupon).
Didn't know that. I can still go back and preorder. Thanks! Madden for $20! Almost like the good ole' days at Gamestop around 10 years ago, when I could trade in last year's Madden + 2 other sports games and essentially get it for free.
Hopefully, I'll never need to buy a second one. Disapointed that Best Buy only sells 2-year extended protection plans on systems now though, so I'm only covered through next August on mine. Original PS3 was killed by Dragon Age Origins four years after I got it. Second one is still kicking after five years, though its mostly used as a DVD player these days.
Curious what kind of release day deals we'll see on Fallout 4. I haven't paid full price for the last three video game purchases I've made, all on release day. MLB The Show - Buy One, Get one Half off at Target (picked up Little Big Planet 3 along with it) The Witcher 3 - Free deluxe guide at Target ($30 value, which I would have bought) Madden 15 - Half off with combined trade in offers at Best Buy Last game I bought before that was Dragon Age: Inquisition, which I used two $30 gift cards that I'd gotten for my birthday to purchase it. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever actually paid full price out of pocket for a PS4 game yet.
Target to offer Buy 2 Get 1 Free next week http://gamerant.com/target-buy-2-get-1-free-deal-returns/ Its a good deal, but I don't have three games that I'm interested in buying right now. If it were Buy one, get one half off, like they ran in April, I'd be there as the doors opened on Tuesday morning. As it stands, due to other plans that morning, I'll likely be picking up Fallout 4 at Wal-Mart before I go anywhere else, because its on my way. (Target is a 45 minute drive in the opposite direction)
Lots of deals this weekend at Best Buy, Gamestop, and Amazon on XBOX one console bundles. Deals vary from $50 credit and a free game (new, $59.99 and under), to a free controller and free game. Also, Newegg right now has $100 xbox live gift cards for $85 with code EMCKKAT37, or a $60 code for $53 with code EMCKKAT36. If you buy mostly digital, $100 for $85 is pretty solid.
