Huh? I think you are misinterpreting our discussion. There is no bickering, or no hard feelings here. I'm disagreeing with a Heat fan.....kind of how it's been for years. You of all people should know about that.

What a complete sack of crap you posted Fin-O. Reach much?

In any walk of life there is gonna be SOMEBODY. In Miami you had a few handful that you really HAD to try HARD to find.

In Cleveland it was the VAST MAJORITY.

In Miami, we gave him a Standing ovation...TWICE..and a Video Tribute.

    In Cleveland..well...you know.

Meanwhile - just as he snatched the ball from Steph Curry - Kawhi Leonard has stolen the DPOY award from Draymond Green! :) Apparently Mr. Green feels like Al Gore. Sort of.

Blazers are pathetic LOL not sure what direction they go in the offseason... They definitely need a Defensive center and a guard..

"Vast majority" is a reach. But moving right along...

How unrealistic is Aldridge to NY?

I don't think Aldridge leaves Portland but I also think it's time for them to make a move... You have Lilliard and Aldridge, and again you can't win a playoff series..

Remember when Whiteside assaulted a player??

No coincidence it was Olynek. That dude is dirty. But I enjoy some physical basketball, so the hippie gets a pass in my book.

Cleveland can win the next series without Love... but ECF/Finals... they will need him.. Kind of reminds me when we were without Bosh in the Pacers series with the ab strain. This is a much weaker eastern conference than the past four years though... Wizards, Hawks, and Bulls are all good but not good enough and won't be representing the Finals.

    Much weaker????

Meh...the lack of D.Rose really robbed us fans of any epic EC series save the one Heat/Pacers series when Paul George started becoming a star.

Now Rose is barely average and George missed the season...and the Cavs have one team that really has a chance of stopping them and they very well could.

IMO it's not happening. I think he either stays in Portland or goes to the spurs if TD retires.

For the Knicks it's a situation too similar to amare where you have a vet player who has had a few injuries and you're going to give him 20M a year for a player who is an average defensive player with a lot of miles on him. He fits the triangle but honestly I'm not sure we sign anyone beyond a Greg Monroe and maybe a Mario Chalmers this year. I really only expect one big ticket guy and a mid tier starter. Next year I think Phil is gearing up for a big move.

I'm calling Wiz over Atlanta now....this is a good basketball team when they are focused.

not much of a prediction. atlanta is soft. softest number one seed ive seen in a long time. if they lose game 4 to the nets i dont think they'll get out of round one. i dont think there is any chance they could beat the wiz

I dont think Wiz win more then 2 games in that series. So Id say ATL in 6. ATL is a very good team and their interior is much stronger then the Wizards. Horford and Milsap is better then Gortat and Nene by a bigger margin then Wall and Beal are better then Teague/Korver/Schroeder (and I do include Schroeder because hes a big part of that team and one of the best young guards around...like rondo 5 years ago without the attitude and with a jump shot)

really. you think atlanta can pick up their game? this to me is a bolder prediction (hawks in 6) then wizards flat out beatng atlanta

btw. where you seeing gm 7 caps/ isles?

There's a bunch of regular season champs this season in the eastern conference, but yes, it is very weak.. 2011-12 and the 2012-13 Knicks would likely beat any team in the East right now except for the Cavs. IMO only team that can compete with the Cavs is the Wizards IF they stay focused. But they won't win more than 2 games against that team.

Bulls are soft. Noah has been useless and Gasol adds onto their softness. Only guy they have that can beat their opponent off the dribble is Rose. lol Seeing Butler handle the ball makes me cringe.

Hawks are the ultimate regular season champs... their offense needs a lot of work in the offseason, that chuck ball won't get them very far.

I think Washington is a one trick pony (John Wall). If you stop Wall that team has no offensive flow. Now stopping wall is easier said then done as he's a tremendous player and a top 3 pg IMO but Atlanta may be his worst possible matchup in the entire league. I have not looked up the stats but Teague and Schroeder should be among the top defensive Pg's based on what I have seen from them this season. They guard the ball well, especially Schroeder. They fight over screen and they move their feet on defense helping them cut down the dribble/drive game.

Isles/caps is a coin flip. Hopefully isles win. It's tough when you're missing a few d-men including your best one (Hamonic). Now we are starting a bunch of rookies/young players behind Boychuk/Leddy. Losing Viz cause of that goon Wilson hurt as well.

FAIR ENOUGH. I think washington has a few more guns then just wall and i am just not seeing anything playwise from atlanta that resembles a team that will go far in the playoffs.

I don't think the Cavs are a dirty team, but they acted very poorly to some very dirty play from the Celtics. Now you know why Whiteside blasted Olynck.

As for the Wiz vs. Atlanta...I liked the Wiz a lot this year, till I realized that Randy Wittman is their coach. Any team that relies on Bradley Beal to hit midrange shots is screwed.

I kinda like the Bulls to take the Cavs to the brink. Jimmy Butler is so far .....the Playoff MVP. he is playing at a VERY high level.

Just don't know how the Cavs replace all the shooting they just lost. Plus Rose and Butler are gonna be the guys with the ball and while JR isn't exactly a lockdown defender, he's been playing pretty well this year. Losing a guy that could chase Dunleavy or give you a few minutes on the other 2 is huge. Gonna be hard for the Cavs to hide someone like James Jones on defense, now.

I kind of hope we see more of Shawn Marion this series. He was part of some really good lineups at the start of the year - he doesn't help with spacing, but Cavs might have to just play defensive matchups and hope LeBron and Kyrie can ISO their way into some points.

Shumpert will have to take Rose, and Lebron will have to take Butler. Then Kyrie will need to take Dunleavy.

I don't like the matchup with Chicago at all with Love out a long time and JR out potentially more than one game.

Definitely acted poorly, those Celtics are the worst mf'ers though. I can't believe the refs let them get by with so much prior to Perkins' escalation (not referring to just game 4 either).

I wish Whiteside had blasted Olynyk even more than he did.

Vaguely. I was about 8 then. I remember some of the highlights and I believe it was Lafontaines game winner after a few OT's.

Beal is good but he struggles when hes asked to create his own offense. Im not relying on Pierce to be anything but old (and a decent role player). Their bigs are hulking but slow. We'll see in a few days.

I'm not a big Wittman guy....but he did put together that small lineup and changed the way the Wiz have been playing and destroyed the Raptors. I mean that series looked like a 1 vs an 8. Beal is playing well too, I'm not sure what that is about. The Wizards have the lineup to win the East after Love went down if they can keep making threes. If the Wizards get good play from Pierce and Porter they have maybe the most complete team in the league right now. People forget that the Raptors are a pretty good team that just got blown out of the water, they aren't an under .500 team that got lucky to get in, they were a good regular season team. The Wizards lineup is a better playoff lineup than regular season lineup IMO.

What THAT is about is Bradley Beal shooting 277 Pullup Midrange jumpers this season and making 34.3% of them.

Looks like Love's been ruled out for the entire Bulls series already. Must be really bad if they're ruling him out already when the series might not start for another week.

It's going to be hard for Chicago to keep up offensively, as always with them, but I think they might actually have a shot if Butler continues to play this well and Rose can manage to be somewhat solid.

Damn bulls and hawks...these series should have been over by now. Vertical Limit is correct..whoever makes it out if the east is getting slaughtered by GSW or SAS. Vs the Clips or Rockets they may have a fighting chance depending on the matchup.

I don't know I thought he was dealing with something nagging this year, he was off for sure. He's an elite level shooter so it was kind of head scratching that he was off this year. He was really aggressive and taking 3s against the Raptors, that was a good sign.

So Love has a torn labrum - anyone know recovery time? I've seen 6 weeks - but not sure if that's with a full tear.

I know it's a long-shot - but if the Cavs somehow beat the Bulls and Hawks (and I'm saying this more because those teams aren't playing well than arguing the Cavs aren't going to struggle without Love) the Finals would start June 4th. That's almost 6 weeks.
