This is probably the worst move Fireland ever made. It was known that Jake Long was gone. Sure they had hopes for J-Mart (LOL!) but it was expected that they'd get a lineman in a draft that was full of linemen.

The Defensive line was never a need for the Dolphins, their front 4 has been the most consistent thing about this team.

Why Fireland traded up to get this guy is beyond me. He should never take a snap for this team again. And the fact that the Dolphins could have shipped him off but his inability not to do drugs even de-railed that.

It's good that he wasn't all that good to begin with so he won't be all that missed.

Move him to WLB and give him as many reps with the first team as possible. Dude is a freak athlete, was a field general at Oregon and an incredibly reliable player. Get his hands off the turf and let him play his natural position. Given the opportunity, he could anchor our defense for years to come...

People are being very reactionary about this. Granted there is good reason to be upset with Jordan, but to cut him now does us no good. He is on an exempt list, does not count against the 53, and there is a cap savings on his base salary. Just keep him on the exempt list and do nothing else for the time being.

He was given an opportunity when he was drafted. He's failed to do anything with the opportunity hes been given.

I dont buy this 'playing him out of position' **** anymore. Yeah, we didn't use him in the BEST ways...but that doesnt explain blowing your chances for drugs. If he cant fix that up on his own over the next year, it doesnt matter if we put DE or OLB next to his name while he sits on the exempt list, hes ****in' done.
