lol. its hilarious how polarized this thread gets yearly. I am just glad we did not get some surprise reach like we often do.
Dolphins really revamped the WR position in one single offseason. Wallace, Hartline, Landry and Gibson to Parker, Stills, Landry and Jennings. Younger and cheaper.
Parker is built like Yatil Green and has a history of missing games due to injuries. I just hope he doesn't end up being another Yatil Green once he shows up in Miami. I was not a fan of drafting him, but he is now a Miami Dolphin, so I wish him nothing but success in his career.
They gave the Dolphins an A for the selection of Jordan two years ago. How did that work out? I am not comparing the pick of Jordan to Parker. I am just pointing out that grades are useless at this stage of a players career. We need to see how Parker develops over the next couple of years and then you can give this pick the proper grade it deserves. Hopefully it will still be an A at that time.
Tannehill has no excuse not to throw less than 30 TDs next season with this group. Parker, Stills, Landry, Jennings? Holy **** thats a WR corps.
Before, during & after our selection the NFL Now stream coverage of the draft did a much better job than nfl network and bspn.
...and even Dion Simms. I like him. I liked him coming out of college. They were kind forced to keep him in to block, but when given the opportunities, he did make some nice plays and I think he will continue to make plays. That can be a cool 2 TE set.
Erick Kendricks and Jake Fisher have to be top targets in the 2nd round. I hope one of them make it to our pick. It's a long shot.
Some nice OL left in the draft. Phins could have some flexibility to trade back if they can get the target they want in the 2nd.
800 yards in 9 starts for Tre last season... The guy is a stud too. He was ridiculously good for Auburn. Pretty sure if a team features him he can be a 1300-1400 yard guy.
