I love the pick. We just solved part of our red zone issues with Cameron and Parker. Two big targets that are bigger taller upgrades over Clay and Wallace. You still have the deep threat with Stills and you got cheaper against the cap. Great moves!!

I hope we go Guard in the second round, TBH.

As for Parker, I have to admit, I like it a lot. I didn't realize dude was so tall. Great stuff.

Freeman to me is a guy to watch, not because he will replace THill more that MMoore is a very expensive luxury and Freeman playing well v MMoore playing well, Freeman wins

Thrilled to get Parker. I was a little concerned after Gurley and Waynes came off the board as they were the other two guys I had interest in at 14.

A legit Red Zone threat. Exactly what we needed.

I would have been seriously pissed if we took another lineman!

Hopefully we can deal down from $47 and get a solid guard and a MLB.

The Dolphins now have a top five receiving corps. Amazing how much they have revamped that unit. They go four wide with a TE and its a coverage nightmare with Landry, Stills, Jennings, Parker, and Cameron

I wouldn't take chances if a good MLB prospect is at 47. If someone like Kendricks or Perryman is there, you take him and don't gamble. OG is a bit different, as I think it's worth getting one OG in the lower 2nd or 3rd (after trading 47) and another in the lower rounds to see if one works out.

Good pick and good value. Should be a good red zone thread, which is desperately needed.

Patience. Word is Philly will cut him sometime after the draft if they can't move him. Don't blow resources...go after him in FA. I just worry about the older guards...they keep failing here hard. Would like to add a mid round pick AND Mathis.

I'm on the "wait and see" bandwagon. I'm not a fan of drafting WR's in round one, unless you have a guy on the board you simply can't pass up. I don't think Parker is that guy, despite the fact there's a lot to like about him. We tried to trade down, which is what I wanted, so I can't be too upset. Pick #14 is a tough one and there wasn't really anyone on the board we had to have or a significantly better prospect available. Hopefully that foot is OK going forward too.

The Kenny Stills trade kind of stings now. Gave up a 3rd round pick for a guy who's going to struggle to see playing time with Jennings, Landry, and Parker on the field. I get why we did it at the time and I liked the move at the time, but now it feels like a waste.

He looked a lot more agile and explosive before his foot injury. Maybe this year he was still recuperating from that injury and didn't look as explosive and agile as he can be. Watching some videos, he shows plenty of athleticism and quickness in some plays so I have to wonder how much that foot affected the way he looked this season.

He sure goes and get a ton of balls from the air. Dude is an animal in those jump balls

I'm warming up to this pick and have no problems with taking Parker. That being said, WRs like Parker who have a hard time separating and are not overly physical scare me. I think Parker falls into that category, however his saving grace is how he uses his frame to box out CBs and he uses his arm length and leaping ability to constantly high point the ball. Dropping only 3 balls in the last 2 years is also telling. He has the makings of a WR that will be able to step in week 1 and contribute.

I don't like the pick but I don't hate it. He was, truly, the best on the board that met one of our needs. He comes with warts but there's nothing keeping Parker from being a good NFL receiver. His combine speed does not match his game speed (half of the time). It's up to the coaching staff to make him a more sudden player when he catches the ball (something Nelson Agholor is better at).You also get questionable route running. He often tries to avoid contact from DBs which ends up badly, as opposed to using hand-fighting and other moves to get clean. Sometimes it feels like he runs the wrong route altogether. But then you get the height, the POTENTIAL speed, the hands (catching), and of course, the jump ball ability.

What it boils down to, however, is he a Miami Dolphin. I won't rue the day he was drafted and talk about could haves and should haves. Instead, I think I'll root for him to be the best receiver we've drafted in a LONG TIME. I was like that with Jarvis Landry and it makes the feeling of having these guys be successful so much sweeter.

Congrats to Devante and welcome to the team! What will we do in the 2nd, now?

1 in about 8 passes dropped. I heard arguments about the quarterback situation which led to the drop rate of Breshad Perriman at UCF, but that little set of lowlights on Gruden's take was pretty scary and none of those were insanely difficult passes.

I think there's something to be said for WRs who can actually catch. We now probably have the two best in the league with Landry & Parker.

The 49ers could do the same with their pick of Arik Armstead, though they might not have a lot of people agree with them.

You are nothing but negative. You're not an NFL GM so get over yourself. No one here agrees with everything the Dolphins do, but no one *****es and moans as much as you do. I for one am sick of it.

Not going to pretend to know enough about Parker or any of these guys to be thrilled or angry about the pick. Glad they added a weapon for Tannehill. Much rather the team take a risk on a guy with explosive potential rather than play it safe on the 3rd or 4th best lineman in the draft.

What? It'd be great if Revis was matched up on our 4th WR! That means we'd still have Jennings, Stills and Landry left... not to mention Cameron who is almost a WR.

Jennings won't be here long. Only a 2 year deal and will retire soon. Heck with Parker now I wouldn't be surprised if a year from now they cut Jennings to free up cap room for a position of need. Parker and Stills on the outside and Landry in the slot is the future. The thing that doesn't make since to me is signing Jennings. He will help but to me WR seems crowded now. I would still do the trade for Stills but I'm not sure signing Jennings is needed now.
