A Guard? Or Something else. I have no idea so I'll pick. Mitch Morse OG 6'5" not to fat but big and run a 5.16 / 40. We need some secondary stud but if the Offense is going to take advantage of the new receivers for Tannehill he will need time to get rid of the ball and with Buffalo and the Jets slamming on defense his job just got harder.
Why him in the 2nd? He is project 4th round. At best late 3rd. Would be a major reach. In one mock draft I saw him going to Dolphins in the 4th round. Would love Kendricks, McKinney, or Perryman in the 2nd and this guy in the 4th.
Just a wild guess. Seeing if anyone else can pick the position taken next. O line is my guess. Rather see the secondary get some help or a LB.
It's mind boggling how many fans want a guard taken so early. Wanted one at 14 and now they want on in the 2nd. Doesn't even matter that they have no idea how good said interior lineman is. Doesn't matter that we have holes at much more important positions. I thought Parker was the pick the whole time assuming he wasn't off the board and I expected he wouldn't be off the board at 14. The way the draft is looking I'd be surprised if lb wasn't the pick here. Only exception is a cb they love falling into our laps. Dallas Thomas can be upgraded with virtually anyone. We 've got to stop wasting early picks on mediocre interior linemen.
well, the thing is no one is hoping we draft a mediocre interior lineman. Usually 2nd round picks tend to be solid starters so that would be nice. My short list includes: OL Jake Fisher DB Eric Rowe LB Eric Kendricks TE Maxx Williams DT Mario Edwards Jr. OL Ali Marpet I really think that we want to trade back and recoup a 3rd round pick though
Carl Davis, Quentin Rollins or Landon Collins. I'd have a hard time passing on Jake Fisher and I'd take a hard look at Donovan Smith. If La'el Collins was there and there was a reasonable certainty that he's innocent of the (suspected) charges then I'd take him in a heartbeat.
According to the NFLN, the latest from his agent is if he is not drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round, he won't sign with whoever drafts him. That he'll instead enter the 2016 draft. Gotta think someone rolls the dice on him tonight.
La'el Collins would be nice but risky, not sure this organization has that much balls about it. someone might just not ours
I don't blame him. If he's innocent, then he got screwed and the timing is unbelievably bad or someone planned it to screw him at the perfect time. If he's guilty, the timing makes no sense- kill the ex girlfriend and slit his own throat at the same time.
The police say he's not a suspect. IMO, drafting him in round 2 (after a trade down?) Would be glorious.
The Eagles receive a sixth round pick from the Dolphins (191 overall) along with No. 47, and gave up 52nd and their two fifth rounders (145th and 156th)
We already have Johnson in the backfield. Only he goes by the last name Miller. It makes no sense to have two RB's who are so similar in there running style. Especially when their need at RB is a runner who can get first downs on third and short and is a threat down by the goal line. I loved Johnson at UM, but he is not a need for the Dolphins at this time IMO.
Except for last year and Jarvis Landry, the 2nd round just seems to be cursed for us....what a huge mistake.
