There won't be any serious appeal. They'd have to open up Brady's phone and most likely open up a new can of worms that could implicate not just Brady.

I hear you Blitz, Big cheater will want to run up scores b4 and after little cheater comes back. But my question is does he have the horses? Remember they had the perfect long game-short game combo in wes & moss. I'm interested in seeing how many defenders will play them beyond the whistle in retaliation.

Can't believe that given that Goodell is his boss and this is such an important issue.

No, the Pats first 3 SBs came during the Spygate era. Patriots videotaping went all the way back to 2000, and didn't end until 2008.

"..Prior to the meeting, Walsh sent eight videotapes, containing opponents' coaches' signals from the 2000 through 2002 seasons, in accordance with the agreement.."

One tape from the Miami Dolphins game on September 24, 2000

Two tapes, one offensive signals and one defensive signals, from the Dolphins game on October 7, 2001

One tape from the Buffalo Bills game on November 11, 2001

One tape from the Cleveland Browns game on December 9, 2001

Two tapes from the January 27, 2002, AFC Championship Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers

One tape, from a "third camera", from the San Diego Chargers game on September 29, 2002

My point being: Goodell tried to side-step the appearance of conflict of interest by handing off the responsibility to his lap dog. Officially and (most importantly) to the public eye, it's Vincent doling out the punishment.

Sure. It "ended". I'll believe they're done cheating when the hoodie is retired and they win 3-4 games most seasons.

I could care less if Brady serves only 1 game of suspension as I am pleased that "cheating" and "new england patriots" are now synonymous in the public conscious.

Eh not a big reason to celebrate...they play the Jaguars in one of those games. Bills in another (Great defense yes, but now they're just possibly even at the QB position). Pats start the season slow sometimes anyway, remember the "Patriots are Done!" after 1-2 start last year... Still the team to beat in the AFC East. I'd be more excited if Miami were playing them in New England in one of the first 4 games...that'd be a huge advantage.

But I guess its still better than a full season with him. If they go 2-2 though they might actually be in better shape since Brady will be rested and not taking hits for four weeks. Now if they start 1-3 that is a pretty good hole for them to start in. It'll be awful if they somehow grab 2 or 3 wins though. Guess we'll see!

The Patriots legacy has been tainted ...forever. No longer will the coach, the team or their coach be considered among the greats of NFL HIstory .Nor should they be when you think of Vince Lombardi,Don Shula,Paul Brown and other greats who played by the rules.

The whole sport has been diminished by these actions.

Not determined yet are the profits made by gamblers knowing about this advantage .Who is to say that the equipment managers were not tipping off the gamblers too.The money is a great temptation for those who are earning meager salaries.

I think they will go 2-2 if Brady is out for the first four games. That is the same record they had after their first four games last year and they ended up winning the division rather easily.

The Patriots always play better as the season goes along and Brady will come back with something to prove. So I still see the Patriots winning the division, even if Brady should end up serving all four games of his suspension.

I might agree with you if the deflated balls had actually been a factor in the Colts game, but they obviously weren't. Also the balls were not deflated in the SB and the Pariots handled the Seahawks without much problem.

I think Brady has been tainted by the fact he lied and his refusal to cooperate in the investigation. As for the rest of the Patriots, they were the best team in the NFL last year and nothing is going to change that fact.

They still didn't get close to a true punishment. Goodall won't be here much longer in my eyes.
It doesn't matter what us Dolphins' fans think their fate should be, the other NFL teams see what's going on too.
This Commissioner hasn't done a good job for several years now and it's well documented.

You're downplaying to support your point...wouldn't be needed if it were true.

"Patriots handled the Seahawks without much problem"....LOL...they had a bit more of that traditional "Patriot Luck" (luck meaning the PIs that weren't called on the INT play) else they'd have been watching Wilson hoist the MVP trophy.

BTW...Brady bragged in interviews before the season how he loved his defense cheating and getting away with it...so ya. How far is the impact of how that piece of sh*t organization operates, and their addiction to cheating? True meaning of "The Patriot Way." F*cking useless.

Keep hoisting their flag though...if it helps you.

Brady basically went from ~110th in fumble rate all time to about the 6th-best ever for a QB.
