No, I want you to put me on ignore. I also want you to actually pay attention to conversations before you jump into them and try and admonish people over things that didn't happen. Those two sentences are related, btw.

For example, if you had paid attention to resnor's post you see he said "My boy?" Notice the question mark? Ask an adult or your kid to explain what a question mark is. Your second clue, was if you read fin4ever's post that res was responding to, you'd see that it was actually fin4 that called res, "my boy".

Now when you combine the two clues, you get a very different take on res' post and realize, that you, once again, jumped in both guns blazing without actually knowing what in the hell you were talking about.

I predict you'll miss the point of this, and will CiF all over the place.

TLDR; So yes, put me on ignore.

    1. I don't think its possible.
    2. I'm not really interested in trying.

We disagree on a fundamental level about virtually everything. Its honestly not worth it to me. My hope is civility and barring that, you putting me on ignore.

They were absolutely terrible after Delmas got hurt. Gave up over 30ppg and a perfect passer rating to Geno "0.0" Smith.

The defense towards the end of the year was really atrocious on one side. We all saw it. Delmas leaving had a big effect and having no one at CB2 aside from a banged up Cortland Finnegan was a killer. There were also questions about the OLB production on that side. It certainly wasn't Grimes, Jones, Jenkins and Wake causing all the issues on the other side. On their worst day, those guys are all fairly reliable.

Oh, believe me, Philbin is not "my boy." I was every bit as mad about that timeout as anyone else. But, there were two plays after that, right? TBH, I was way more angry with the defender giving the receiver sideline instead of forcing him back to the middle of the field.

Anyway, by why reasonable measure, the defense was atrocious. We allowed more than the league average for points a ton. How last times did we allow over 30? Everyone remembers shutting out the Chargers, and that game in particular really set a faulty narrative about our defense.

I was kidding about Philbin..Lol..I do hope though that he has learned allot by reviewing himself last year, and I hope that he has grown exponentially this year..I also agree about the Defense as well..We should never have lost that game and a 9 year veteran CB should have never given up the sideline to the rookie receiver and Wheeler should have not been covering Quarless...I am thinking that our defense will be much improved this year and I also want to see the younger defenders get some playing time too..that is how we can build a dominant defense..Fede needs to play more..We have to know as OV is due next year and I hope we can keep him..McCain definitely should have played more last year...I like Tripp, and I hope we find a way to keep all four of the UDFA LB's that we picked up as every one of them is a baller and Luc is a turnover master..forcing fumbles..Bobby McCain..11 int' s last year..gotta get these type players on the field..t.o.'s wins games and of course, keeps us in better field position. Yes, things are finally starting to look up and take shape. I am so happy so far with Hickey and now T-Baum as well, Aponte...We have a really good FO and our team is improving right before our eyes..it is time..for us to take the east.:hi5:

I may be many things but gay is not one of them. But, if someone is gay I have no problem with that. That's their choice.

Equal parts bad plays and bad coaching. Queasy made multiple mistakes. Even on the touchdown Wheeler felt it was part bad coverage (his) and part bad play call (coaching). The Packers were wilting in the heat, 4th and 10 and no timeouts left, and momentum on our side we really should not have given them time to regroup. Looks like Philbin was NOT prepared for that situation nor was he confident he prepared the players for that situation.

Sometimes you gotta just give credit to the other team. The Packers had the better squad, better QB, most would say better coaching staff. Game came down to a couple plays and Rodgers showed why he's the best QB in the game. No need to point fingers but if that's your thing look no further than Fields' 20 yd punt that gave GB the ball at the 40 when a decent punt would have pinned them at or inside the 20. That extra 20 yards was crucial and it's doubtful that GB would've had the time to go 80 yards given how well the D was playing.

That, bad luck in not recovering the fumble and Tannehill not being able to do anything in the 4 minute drill, he's 0 for 9 at closing out games in the 4 minute drill, which I'm guessing puts him in the running for worst of all time. This puts a lot of pressure on our defense (and special teams) that a lot of defenses don't have to endure. Just look at the Packers-Patriots game, almost identical finish except Rodgers completed the pass and the team got to relax as the offense knelt on the ball.

And if you think about it its a miracle we even had a lead to protect and another chance at a 4 minute drill in that game.

Its a difficult and subjective stat to research but I would guess our nine "4 minute drill" type leads is at the top of the league over the last 3 seasons under Philbin/Tannehill. For instance, I looked at Luck and Wilson and they only have 5 or 6 of those situations between them. To be fair to Tannehill though I also think its possible you're better off being the QB that is 4 points down than the QB that's 4 points ahead.

How many of those situations for Tannehill, though, came after he had already lead the team down for a score, to then watch the defense allow the other team to drive the field to score, leaving Tannehill little time to drive the field and score. Tannehill also has his fair share of 4th quarter comebacks. Green Bay, for instance, Tannehill was lights out in the second half. It's also tough to close out games when the run game is non-existent in the second half, and the offense becomes one-dimensional and predictable.

That GB lost was the quintessential team loss. O can't get the 1st to keep GB's O on the bench, punt team lets them return ball 20 yards to give GB a short field and the D can't make a stop. Total suckage.

Don't forget Philbin is called queasy because he said he was antsy and queasy about passing the ball late in the game, so he opted to run the ball, on 3rd and 9, with 3 minutes left.

This is true, it's on the whole team when they blow the lead. Offense, defense, coaching everyone (unless there is a clear example of someone fumbling or something).
