2011 was the only true action Moore got in Miami, and he was bad the first 3 games and then pretty solid the last 9. He is what he is, a good backup QB, and that is important in the NFL.
Off with their head! @chrisperk Tannehill might have got left foot stepped on. Limping off field. Doesn't look like big deal
Man Freeman dropped off like crazy No word on the RBs today, specifically Ajay.....guess pads will be a real sign when they come on
That's unfortunate, but I get it! Some guys really turn it on once the lights are on and its gametime. Hope he takes full advantage of his chances in preseason.
Dennis Hickey and Eric Stokes were looking on practice pretty closely. I'd love to hear what they're thinking as they watch Josh Freeman stink up the joint. They saw him stink it up in Tampa his final camp there. As a former Matt Barkley fan the thing that pains me a little is knowing the Dolphins were evidently close to trading for him. They probably weren't trading anything good for him, but still. They evidently chose to opt out of the trade and go with Josh Freeman. It doesn't matter obviously as Miami has the $100 million man in Ryan Tannehill, but still...mistake is a mistake. At least, IMO. They may be able to circle back and get Barkley though. I think Chipper really does think he can get Tim Tebow to be a role player that plays on Sundays.
It will be interesting to see how they use him at corner. It will have to be in such a way that masks his lack of pure speed and running ability.
I think we need to have a legit discussion about our kicking situation. Especially with the new extra point rules. Sturgis is shaky and also perpetually struggling with injuries. Andrew Franks was brought in to compete, which is great, but he is a complete unknown at this point.
Has Dustin Hopkins been any good? Is he available? I don't keep track of kickers. I liked him at FSU.
Yeah, but the thing is, Matt Barkley sucks. Why trade anything for a guy who won't be on their roster soon enough.
well, it matters somewhat if we're unlucky and Tannehill misses a few games. Moore was OK when all he had to do was throw it up to Marshall and let him come down with it. If he ends up starting for us for a couple of games, it could swing us from a winning record to a losing record very quickly.
He's a third string QB. There's no such thing as a stupid signing for a 3rd string QB. They could sign ck as the 3rd QB and I'd shrug my shoulders.
Not at all concerned about QB. Phins are doing well at almost every position - growth is a good thing, even if it's slow. The exception, of course is the OL. Worst position for the team the last two years and no major improvements this year. The 2015 season is riding on a whole lot of faith in a healthy Albert, Turner, and... Thomas?
I'm glad Parker is getting immediate reps with the first team because a) he was our first round pick and b) Greg Jennings is probably a lot more privy to learning a new offense in general.
Hey DJ, where you at? Think Tannehill's starting to get it now? First time Misi caught him in the backfield, he gained 10 yards the second time... at least it shows he's looking to run when possible.
what did you say?you better stop messing with me? do you say ryan tannehill, the former athletic 1000 yard big time college wide receiver, actually ran the football on his own accord, for ten yards, while the middle linebacker left his responsibility?
Zach Vigil has amazing hair. That kind of grittiness should earn him a starting spot alongside Jenkins and Misi. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well considering it was 6-3 after losing 7....."team to a winning record" is a bit of a stretch. Considering we were 6-10 But I guess.....good for him....?
