I saw a guy in a Cavs Omri Casspi jersey downtown today so I'm not really sure anything can stop the Cavs tonight.
I'm constantly defending Heat fans on Twitter but if this is the best insult y'all can come up with I'm gonna switch off all that. At least Vertical's involved poop. I expect so much more from you, CK.
This is very interesting.... Here is a very good illustration of what the Heat's offense will look like next year with Dragic/Wade and Bosh/Whiteside down low. Expect the return of the good ole' heat HORNS sets.
On the Cavs re-sale engine. So those are 2,600 season ticket holders that returned their tickets for tonight. They have 40 minutes left to "buy" back their seats.
LOL. I'm just sayin. They're not expending all that much time or effort on the trashing Cleveland thing. It's like the lowest hanging fruit out there. If a stand up comedian got up on the stage and stared at the crowd awkwardly for 20 seconds, and then just said the word "Cleveland", there would be a laugh. And he could stop the show right there if he wanted to.
This is very different than saying the game didn't sell out. A bunch of fans put them up to see if they could make $$$. Like - it's still bad! But your original statement was something very different.
I'd be interested to see what is normal for these games. Like - these numbers have no context. They sound very bad! But I'd be interested to see the % for other games in this series / playoffs. Also - do other teams have something like Flash Seats? It's fairly unique, I believe?
I Had tickets for Game 7 vs. the Spurs in 13'. Face value for my ticket was $250. I put it up for $2,500 on the Heat's re-sale engine. I got offered $1,500 5 minutes before deadline. I "bought" them back.
Yeah, honestly it's sort of like when a drunk bro'd out guy calls you a name at a bar just to sound tough. Like 90% of people who make jokes about Cleveland have never even been here. And it's like - how can you be so certain Cleveland is so bad if you've never been here? Like - come here for ONE day, and THEN you'll realize it's so, so much worse and be able to make way better jokes!
So...if you're saying Cavs fans are bad for putting their tickets on the re-sale engine, and YOU put YOUR ticket on a re-sale engine...what you're saying is...
90% is being kind. I'd say like 99.5% of the people that crack Cleveland jokes have never set foot in the city.
............. that I had already seen 2 championships and $2,500 sounded like a real good price to not see #3 in person.
bah. That one was won by Ray Allen, and Chris Bosh overtime heroics in game 6...so it technically didn't count. At least that's what the media said.
Darren Rovell says that courtside seats just sold for 3k. They sold for 15k in that same location for games 3 and 4.
Does this mean you're more bullish on Wade coming back than a couple weeks ago? I couldn't help but notice you included him in this equation.
Looks like a lot of double high screens and post screens. You know who else will be good running off those?...Devin Booker.
Yep especially after the Clippers made that trade. It comes down to Knicks or Heat unless he wants to play for mini MLE in Cleveland.
Whoa Wade said "when I was in Miami". That's cold. https://twitter.com/johnnynba/status/610974790606815234
I'm an honest person and I **** you not I was about to post something about her but out of good faith on my part I chose to not post it.
Maybe Wade meant this, When I was (IN) Miami, he is now in Cleveland as of now, which is true because he isn't in Miami right now.
Got off the Phone with Tim Donaughy, told me to take the over, paid 40 dollars from his website just for him to tell me that.
So how many days of breathless media speculation do we get out of this 4 second Wade clip? Ridiculous. I almost prefer Instagram detective.
I just found out she is blind, thank god for not posting anything, that's really sad. Such a bright girl. Her parents should be proud of her. I missed the part where they introduced her and caught it in the middle. I thought she had what happened to Tony Sparano.
Cavs should just let Curry shoot wide open, dude can't shoot wide open 3s for ****, but he can shoot the hell out of you if you man up on him.
