So those are 2,600 season ticket holders that returned their tickets for tonight. They have 40 minutes left to "buy" back their seats.

LOL. I'm just sayin. They're not expending all that much time or effort on the trashing Cleveland thing. It's like the lowest hanging fruit out there. If a stand up comedian got up on the stage and stared at the crowd awkwardly for 20 seconds, and then just said the word "Cleveland", there would be a laugh. And he could stop the show right there if he wanted to.

 

This is very different than saying the game didn't sell out. A bunch of fans put them up to see if they could make $$$.

I'd be interested to see what is normal for these games. Like - these numbers have no context. They sound very bad! But I'd be interested to see the % for other games in this series / playoffs.

I Had tickets for Game 7 vs. the Spurs in 13'. Face value for my ticket was $250. I put it up for $2,500 on the Heat's re-sale engine. I got offered $1,500 5 minutes before deadline. I "bought" them back.
