Jon Snow can't stay dead... While the show has clearly decided to leave out a certain supernatural resurrection, Jon Snow will be the exception. And I still think Lady you know who (don't spoil it book readers) still has a chance to come back. The might be saving that storyline as to not spoil Jon's Resurrection and give Brienne and Jaime something to do later.

Unlike every other major character who has died, specifically Robb Stark, Jon Snow's story arc isn't finished. And as others have mentioned, there's too much going in the direction of a Resurrection. Melisande and Prophecy being two big ones. Jon Snow isn't done yet, IMO. Maybe he won't be in season 6, but he'll be back for the final season 7 (If S7 truly is the final season).

^lol... love the heavy guy in the blue shirt lying on the bed with the remote on his belly... while his wife or gf is falling apart he didn't budge an INCH.

I really did the same thing (as those women, especially the one saying "**** you... **** you... **** you")... not afraid to admit it. I paused the show before I turned the brightness up on my TV and went backwards on my DVR (to see that Traitor sign)... during the pause, I had to stand up, move around the room, walk it out... talk to myself... I was alone of course... my wife doesn't watch the show (yeah I know).

    New Topic:
Season 6. What is your wish list?

    1. Tyrion as the star of season 6: Fixing Dany's mess in Mareen while she's away can absolutely be fun, interesting, and productive. The Lannister's are as important to the story as the Starks. Killing Tywin began the Lannister civil war, with Cersei putting a bounty on Tyrion's head. If Tyrion is to ever return to Westeroes, the war will be fully engaged. Where does Jaime fit in? Last we heard him speak of Tyrion, he said he would kill him for mudering Tywin. Will he have a change of heart? Anyway, Tyrion fixing Mareen should set the stage for him to being Hand of the Queen and getting Dany back on track to Westeroes.

    2. Fallout from Castle Black: Is Jon Snow dead? Yes. Yes he is. Will he brought back, as Thoros of Myr, a priest of the Lord of Light, brought back Beric after he was slain in his battle with the Hound? I hope so. I hope we dig a little deeper into Melisande and her power, as well as the mythology of the Lord of Light. I also want to see what happens with Tormond Giantsbane and the rest of the Wildlings without Jon Snow's influence and protection.

    3. Dorne, but with a purpose: Myrcella is dead, poisoned by Oberyn's girl. Prior to that scene, Dorne seemed to wrap itself up completely. But hopefully, what occurred in Dorne is just the prelude for what's to come. Dorne has got to be considered an enemy of the crown at this point, no? I want to see King Doran flourish. He's a deep, rich, and masterful player of the Game of Thrones. Think Tywin, if Tywin wasn't a "villain." Now his hand has been forced, it's time for him to get up (figuratively speaking) and play.

    4. More Jaime and Bronn: Jaime and Bronn are the new tag team champs of Westeroes. Where Jaime goes, I suspect Bronn goes, as Jaime can't fight. And Jaime needs a sounding board he can trust, as TV doesn't do inner monologue. If Tyrion v. Jaime ever comes to fruition, Bronn being caught in the middle would be interesting. I also want to see Jaime become jaded. All of his life he's been the father of three children and yet, has never been his father. When the truth is revealed, Myrcella already knows and accepts him. What could of been Jaime's happiest moment turns to horror, as he holds his dead daughter in his hands. I want to see Jaime return to the "dark side" as he did in season 1-2. His character works better with an edge, anyway. Which brings me to Tyrion, again. After Ceresi finds out about Myrcella, I want Jaime to leave and flee to Essos. His goal? To find Dany and Tyrion and kill them.

    5. Bran: With Jon Snow gone, Bran should appear far more powerful than the last time we saw him. He should serve the story as a narrator of past events, of which need to include Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, Lyana Stark, prophecy of Prince who was Promised, and Azor Ahai.

    6. Dany's boobs: It's been awhile... I'm not sure what I want from her story line tbh. I want her to go to Westeroes, but that's not happening until the very end, IMO. I just hope Jorah and Daario isn't an epic fail. I'm not hopeful. Neither character is all that great by themselves, and I don't see this tag team being very interesting.

    7. Arya realizing she's not "No one.": At some point, Arya has to realize what she really wants. She doesn't want to be a faceless man. She wants to be Arya Stark and have the power to get vengeance on those who made her and her family suffer. I'd also like a little more mythology on the faceless men and their God.

    8. Cersei scorching Earth: Cersei has been humiliated beyond belief. It's time for the empire to strike back. And her trial is looming soon. As is her new friend, Ser Robert Strong aka FrankenMountain. I'd also like more from Qyburn, especially about his beliefs and his banishment as a Maester.

    9. Oldtown: Oldtown is a very interesting place in the books. And Sam could in fact, play a large part. At the very least, Oldtown, like Bran, should provide crucial information about the mythology of magic. Especially Dragons and Targs.

    10. Ironborn: I suspect Reek might try and take Sansa to Pike. He's got no where else to go... ya know? Besides, if the casting rumors are true, the Iron Islands could get interesting (finally).

    11. More White Walkers. Maybe something significant about their culture and why they're raising an army.

I feel like Cersei is an unpredictable bomb ready to explode at this point. What could of been a humbling and enlightening experience, will go the other way. Cersei has always seen herself as a victim. She thinks she isn't respected like Men because she's female, rather than the obvious truth about her character flaws... Now she really is a victim, so I can only imagine that will embolden her. "When you play the game of Thrones, you either win or you die." Careful, Cersei...

During the flashback we had this season the witch told Cersei she'd die after her 3 children have passed away. Already 2 of the 3 are dead so all she has left is Tommen. I think as soon as he gets Margaery pregnant he's skating on thin ice, especially after doing nothing when she and Loras were imprisoned by the sparrows.

Based on the prophesy I'm guessing that Tommen dies before Cersei and that she is eventually strangled by either Tyrion or Jaime. The prophesy said, "And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you." Apparently "valonqar" means "little brother" in High Valerian and she is older than both Jaime, by seconds, and Tyrion.

I think Cersei thinks it will be Tyrion that kills her because of that prophecy, which is a major reason why she's hated him his whole life. I think that's also why she seduced Jaime, because him and Tyrion were so close and she wanted him on her side.

And I think ultimately, it will be Jaime that kills her.

That's my guess as well if for no other reason than prophesies being mis-interpreted is the norm. I could easily picture a scene with Jaime reluctantly strangling her b/c he knows it's best for the realm or even for Cersei herself.

In the books, the separation between Jaime and Cersei is more heavy - he is turning around into a "good guy" while Cersei is still just a raging psycho. While it has been going on with the show too, there have been hints (like the whole Dorne thing) where Jaime may be pining for her. Keep in mind, in the books
Kevan starts righting the ship while Cersei is imprisoned, but gets a crossbow bolt from Varys because he wants Cersei to keep ****ing things up (wonder how that may play out next season btw)
. It would make sense for Cersei to take this latest incident (SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!) in the wrong way - instead of humbling, she goes bonkers and starts killing wholesale with Robert Strong at the lead. This tips of a war with the Sparrows and possibly Tyrells (maybe they do the same to Tommen as they did to Joffrey). Dany then makes her entrance to this environment (with Tyrion by her side advising), and Jaime realizes who would be best for the kingdom and offs Cersei.

IMO, if this is what happens (and that was largely off the top of my head, my book recollection is not great, it's been awhile ...) that could mean Snow is indeed dead dead. Dany/Tyrion/Jamie make peace in the south, the Walkers overwhelm the Wall/Watch, Ramsay gets swallowed up, but the South rides in to the rescue after Sam comes forward with knowledge from Oldtown (dragons, dragonglass, dragonsteel (Valyrion). Can't think of how Bran or Arya would fit into this though.

Valonqar means younger sibling, not necessarily younger brother. And it's not specified which younger sibling. It could be anyone's younger sibling. Cersei is surrounded by them. Younger Tyrell siblings, for instance.

I think there's a reason for the scene with Myrcella informing Jamie that she knows about him, and I don't think it was to simply make her death more powerful. He'll be an emotional wreck when confronting Cersei with the news of their daughter's death, paired with a possibility that he believes it's her fault. She's already an emotional wreck herself following her imprisonment and walk of shame. In typical Cersei fashion she blames Jamie for either not protecting their daughter or for not being there to save herself, and he subsequently snaps in a fit of rage and chokes her out. Jamie then flees the city and seeks out his brother. In the process he finds himself reunited with the one person he respects the greatest- Brienne of Tarth who just so happens to have in her possession a surviving daughter of a man he greatly respected- Ned Stark [or maybe Jamie assists Brienne in rescuing Sansa]. Then they come across Bran on their way to finding Tyrion.

Bran is the middle of tree wizard training, I don't think he's ever going to leave that Cave. Maybe as a crow he is warged into, but no on his own two feet.

One of the things Jaime wants the most is to be acknowledged as the father of his children, which Cersei will never give him. He got that from Myrcella before she died though, and it meant everything to him. I do agree with TP that Cersei will use the situation to lay into him, furthering their divide. Maybe next year we get Jaime in the Riverlands?. I can also see Jaime killing Cersei for the good of the realm as the finale of his journey to redemption, and it would bring his story full circle to when he earned the Kingslayer title for killing the Mad King before he got the chance to blow up King's Landing.

I've never seen a translation that says "younger sibling". The septa in the book specifically said "younger brother". But I have seen it argued that High Valerian uses the male gender when the gender is an unknown. I could see an argument for Sansa or Arya using the gender neutral translation. Personally, my guess is that Jaime makes far and away the most sense. It might even be a mercy killing after Cersei takes the Tears of Lys poison which we know she has and was ready to use if facing capture at the Battle of Blackwater. There have been a couple occasions where Jaime says they (he and Cersei) will die together. I just think that Jaime being the valonqar has had the most foreshadowing and makes the most literary sense.

There's a mention of it somewhere in the books, where a character POV translates valonqar as "younger sibling" in an off-hand way. It might be Tyrion in ADWD, I genuinely forget.

The bigger point is that exactly whose younger sibling/brother the prophecy is talking about is not clear. It could be Jaime, because Jaime is Cersei's younger brother by a few seconds. Or it could be a non-Lannister younger brother, like Loras (the youngest Tyrell brother), or someone else entirely.

Here's a show-only theory: what if it's Kevan Lannister, the younger brother of Tywin?

I understand that there is an argument to expand the definition and that it could be a number of other people. I'm just saying that IMO the best answer from a story POV is for it to end up being Jaime.

The problem is the assumption that if it didn't happen on screen, then it never happens. Like when he's *****ing about JS not telling anyone else about the walkers. First of all, the show is 10 hours a season. Some things have to be left out for time. Secondly, he spent the entire time leading up to the trek telling the other crows about the walkers, so I'm not sure why the assumption is that he stops telling them about the walkers after they attack.

I truly believe these types of videos are all about the creator of them trying to show people they are just too smart for normal human entertainment.

TV shows play by different rules. The average reader of the books is going to be a much different audience than the average HBO viewer.
