Yeah. If they're moving up to 7, that has to be the target. The odds would seem pretty high that one of those 2 will be there at 7 and if not, then Mudiay will be and while PG may not be a need, I would take that guy at 7 easily. He has star potential.
I absolutely believe race is a factor as well as him being a senior. He is not a great defender but he's a shot blocker, can handle the ball, pass, has an array of low post moves, and is arguably the best shooter in the draft. I think he is being overlooked.
I remind you...2 days ago, Adam Shefter described Tom Brady's appearance, and Robert Kraft's contribution to a NFL appeal hearing as a "Holy experience."
Jeez, Lamarcus told the Blazers he's not resigning? What a punch to the gut if you're a Portland fan. But that's how you do it, Lebron.
A year ago most figured that the #1 pick in this draft would be Okafor or Mudiay. Mudiay is one for whom playing over seas hurt his draft stock. Of course he did pocket $1.2 mil so it wasn't a bad internship for a guy who was going to be a one and done all along.
I don't agree. Players with a big liability like "can't defend" with limited upside don't belong in the top 10 unless they're all-world on offense. Kaminsky isn't anywhere near that. I wouldn't buy the argument that he's the best shooter in the draft. As a passer and shot blocker I think he's good but not great. The only things I really like about him are his size and low post moves. But I hate his mobility. I see him as a guy I'd have to protect. I don't think he projects to a starter on a good team. I don't see him as a guy you build around as one of your top 3. He reminds me a bit of Bogut with better post moves. I'd like him as a back-up C. And I'm not spending #10 on that willingly. I'd prefer a WCS over him easily and he's not my first choice at 10 either.
Everywhere Im reading is Lamarcus wants to play in Texas. Spurs Rockets and Dallas all got a shot if they can make space.
Doesn't look like Booker is going 9 unless maybe someone takes Kaminsky earlier. And if that happens, someone good (maybe Johnson) will be there at 10.
Scheme fits are a huge concern in the triangle. Ball dominant pg is the biggest no bueno. And personally Mudiays busted *** jumper wouldn't have me thrilled
Andy Katz just said Miami contacted Mudiay's agent to see what it will take to go up and get him. Interesting.
Jalen Rose very politely eviscerating the triangle in 2015. Tyrannosaurus Jax - posted via Tapatalk -
I want to win another title just so Adam Silver will troll the New York crowd a week later. - posted via Tapatalk -
I like how espn put in text on the bar: Knicks needs "everything - jalen rose" never enough knicks jokes
Stretch 4s who can post are not easy to find. Kaminsky is a good offensive player already. He has upside as a defender if he works on it in the NBA.
