I didn't even entertain the notion Winslow would fall outside a trade up. Dear God, that was a godsend
Per Ira... @IraHeatBeat: Have been informed Heat are not involved in any deals. Winslow was drafted to be kept by the Heat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Im guessing if Deng opts in he will be dealt. If he opts out he will either take a paycut or sign with another team.
Remember when I said the best thing the Heat could do this year was end up in the lotto and everyone said it was more important to make the playoffs? This is why! LOVE this pick!
Wow didnt expect him to fall honestly thought the knicks might take him pretty good draft for the heat
Tom Haberstroh Heat exec on Justise Winslow falling to them at No. 10: "Wow." They thought he'd go No. 4 to Knicks. Sorry for the repetition.
This is insane. Seriously best-case scenario...happened. Absolute perfect fit, awesome kid who works HARD and whose game improved by massive strides over the course of last season. Just nuts. Bill Simmons knows: "I take back everything I said about trying for the 8th playoff spot over getting a top-10 pick. Winslow is a stud. Miami does it again."
Picking up these young pieces, add a strong player this season and get one of the 2016 Max's...won't be hard to jolt to 2nd best team in the East.
Everyone who can will opt out, the pay increase will be significant. Knicks likely to get Paul and Lebron and Durant. Gonna be amazing. We are back!
The ones who is definitely back is the Lakers... DeAngelo Russell, let's say the sign Lamarcus. kobe's contract clears after this season and they sign Marc Gasol next year...
I was listening to ESPN Radio this morning hours before the draft. I think it was during Cowherd's show. Anyway they had one of their NBA draft analyst on and he relayed a conversation with Kryzrzewski before the season. The analyst had compared Winslow to some player whose name I missed, but Kryzrzewski corrected him and said, "no he's Dwyane Wade". The analyst pointed out that Kryzrzewski is not prone to exaggeration or hyperbole. He doesn't tend to try and over-sell his players. The analyst also stated that Kryzrzewski was right. I thought of your post when I heard that. While I agreed with your comparison it was nice to hear that Kryzrzewski was also in agreement.
I honestly think we drafted Winslow to be our future shooting guard to succeed Wade. Durant still in play in 2016. Dragic winslow Durant bosh Whiteside The future.
