I know that sound strange to ask, but I'm curious on what you did. Did you act crazy and scream Dolphins? Did you had a selfie together? Did you share every experience possible you had about the Dolphins? Did you talk about a favorite player? What did you do?

Walk past the guy. (though I usually note to myself that there's a person who at least roots for the right team)

I saw a guy in Maui right after we signed Suh...He was driving by slowly in his car. I saw the Dolphins bumper sticker and shouted "Ndamukon!!!" while flashing the shaka. Little smile crept up on his face...I'm an angel.

    head nod..

lol, when I meet dolphin fans its always fun to see how much they know about the team, 9 out of 10 times their not close in knowing what we know here, which is no indictment on them, their hobby isn't football and blogging about it..lol

I'm usually excited to see one. I would talk Dolphins for as long as I could. Usually they know a lot, but most are just excited to be on a team that seem to be on the rise. I always get the question if I was from Florida. I'm from Phoenix, Arizona and people are shocked. They are shocked that I'm not rooting for the Cardinals. Plus that I know as much as I do about my Dolphins. It's fun to meet dolfans. That's why I love that Dolfans NYC video. Sick!!

I'll let you know the next time I meet one, lol. I actually did know one years back. Ex girlfriends best friend. Last saw her like 13 years ago though. Thank goodness for the internet to talk to fellow fans.

I actually meet quite a few here in Indy. I usually ask them why they're a fan and it's always because of Marino. They've stuck with the team despite having a decent team in their city for over a decade. Gotta respect that.

Depends. If they're just walking by, probably nothing. Just a mental note of, "Nice. That's cool." (Especially considering I no longer live in South Florida). If it's an actual encounter, usually just say something to the effect of, "Nice hat/shirt," or "You a Dolphins fan?" Then, now, probably spark into some short conversation about Tannehill and how badly I'm ready to see them win.

For some reason, I feel more inclined to communicate with a Florida State fan (my favorite college team) who just walks by --rather than a Dolphins fan -- with a simple, "Go Noles!" or a tomahawk chop motion. Maybe it's just a college thing? I don't know why I feel like someone wearing a university's apparel is somehow more of a fan than someone wearing a professional team's apparel.

Usually i'll give them a head nod or something to that effect while walking by. If I have an opportunity to talk I will, but like DJ said they generally aren't as knowledgeable as most people around here, so conversations are generally about how they are going to "give Tannehill another year to prove it" or "Philbin is a goner" ect ect.

I generally make more of an effort to talk to pats fan.. I ran into a 20-something year old who couldn't name the QB that Brady took over for. They are truly an entertaining bunch of folks.

    over there
I usually say "Go Dolphins". Some have stopped to BS football, others acknowledge the gesture, and the other 5% who don't say anything, I chalk up as being morons.
Never have I asked (or been asked) to take a selfie with a Dolphins fan I just met.
