Would you pay Dez Bryant, D. Thomas, or Julio Jones 15 million?

If any of these 3 were Dolphins and became FA, would you pay them their demands? As great as they're, I wouldn't. I prefer the GB packer model. Give me talent like Nelson and Cobb at a discounted price and keep your "elite" WR. Moreso, keep drafting Wrs in rounds 2-3 and develop them. That's one reason I'm excited about our WR corps. Depth and talent at great prices. Obviously contracts will eventually come up, but for now, we're locked in. When those contracts come up, make sure you have a plan to move on without them, just in case.

Personally, if I'm all three teams, I'm calling GM's to see what they would offer me.

The market dictates that money. I would pay it for Dez and Julio not DT though.....

What makes you say no mas for DT? The fact that Peyton is probably retiring soon and Denver will only be left with a huge contract at WR and no QB? If so, that makes sense.

Not Dez. Head case and trouble. Didn't want him when he was in the draft and I don't now.

Maybe on the other two, but it would be to be a situation where I was really certain that I would be able to win in a short window with them. Throwing that kind of money at a WR if you're a rebuilding team would be nuts.

Market's getting set. In a few years these are going to be the standard.

Both Dez and Thomas signed at 5 years, 70 mil. So there you have your market for a top end WR. If we're fortunate, we'll be faced with this issue with Parker in five years.

well.. yes, I would... all three are studs, young, and in their prime. SMH... we paid Mike Wallace 5 years $60m.. He is so inferior to them... alas... free agency... these guys would get more than $70m if they actually hit an open market.

Ive said it before but in my opinion Julio is the best receiver in the NFL. Quiet assassin of secondaries, carries himself as a professional without the drama, and just flat out produces.

If they were already Dolphins and had proved they were big playmakers, I would seriously consider it with Jones. Seems like we always get these supposed "superstar" WR, and pay them from what they had done on a previous team, and then nothing really happens when they're here (Marshall, Wallace). I'm interested to see if Bryant performs on the same level or ends up being like former Titans RB Chris Johnson. He crashed pretty hard after his big contract.

Dez and DT yes...not Julio. Injury history scares me a lot. Not that Dez doesn't scare me but you can babysit stupid...you can't protect against injury in the NFL.
