    Get off my lawn.
Probably one of the biggest things that will choke me up is military coming home videos... too easy to connect with. Never really had anything in my life as emotional as that... counting down anywhere from 9 to 18 months... then sitting in a holding status in some country for a few days... then the applaud and support in Atlanta or DFW... and it all comes down stepping out and seeing your family again and your kids a few inches taller. You can't seem to sleep over the multiday trip and its emotionally draining.

Remember that scene when Mike Pouncey was called for a bullish!t illegal man downfield, while en route to a 17-0 lead, and exclamation point on a play-off bound season? yeah.

Two separate scenes from the end of Armageddon...Harry saying goodbye to Gracie, when they land after saving the day you see "Chick" watching everyone being greeted by family....then, here comes his little boy who's mother kept from him running in slow motion.

Pursuit of Happiness...when they are forced to sleep in a public bathroom

The Patriot... When Suzanna finally speaks to her father and cries "Pa Pa, please don't go". That shnit gets me every single time.

I rember getting ready-eyed at one point in 'outbreak' where the mom needs to be quarantined and she says something about playing a board game later to the kids, even tho show knows she's never gonna see them again. Something like that.

Usually I'm much more apt to cry at something heartwarming than something sad. Or if I'm drunk.

A couple of seasons ago my mom finished chemotherapy and the Dolphins beat the Seahawks that same day. I dropped a tear of happiness.

I cried when Marino retired. I REALLY wanted him to go to the Vikings for a season. (Can you imagine Marino/Moss/Carter? I mean seriously...) Dennis Green flew down to Miami with all of his assistants and FO with a specially designed playbook just for Danny (A lot of shotgun plays). IIRC, the only reason he turned them down is because their OL gave up 43 sacks that year and then lost their 2 best OL to Free Agency, and they played on turf. Can you say "60 sacks" ten times real fast in a row? LOL

Anyone ever watch Marley & Me? My mom bought it for me on BluRay a few years ago and I've never even opened it. I thought about it one time to watch with my son, but he basically said "HELL NO!" LOL

My son was NOT interested at all about watching a movie where a dog dies.

I'm pretty sure I'd cry like a baby with that one (HUGE dog lover).

I didn't cry when Marino retired, but I cried like a baby during Zach Thomas' retirement press conference.

For some reason everyone I watch something on Walter Payton or Steve McNair, I get misty. Walter was a great guy, a heck of a football player. I was sad when he passed and everytime I watch his bio it gets to me.

Same with McNair, except he died because he had an affair with a mentality unstable Iranian woman who killed them both. He was a joy to watch cuz he had heart, and I felt awful for him when the Titans came up short against the Rams in that Super Bowl. But if he had made better choices after football, maybe he'd be around still.

I think what gets me about these guys is that both played the game with heart and were generally good dudes. But neither of them had to die, especially Payton in that he didn't have a choice. So its hard for me to watch a Football Life/Sportscentury/NFL Films about them.

    That and "Old Yeller".
