Skolnick will be fine. He can definitely get a gig with 790, but the exact nature depends on what happens with ESPN and Le Batard's time slot. You said "I love seeing billionaires fight amongst themselves." Present tense. The word "hope" does not appear anywhere in your post. I'm used to parsing your posts in the PoFo, but out here? A little more honesty, please.
I do love seeing billionaires fight. It happens regularly. I said a beef btw them 'would be great', which is not present tense. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
I've always liked Skolnick. It's hard for me to believe he isn't more successful than he is. I mean, how do Jason Cole and Alex Marvez make it to big time, but Ethan doesn't? I'm sure he could land a gig on 790, but I would hope he could do even better than that. He's a good sportswriter. Maybe he can take Omar's job. That'd be the best trade ever.
Ethan doesnt really have a radio personality, he is good at calling in, telling what his sources are and then hanging up. Id probably be bored listening to him.
Disagreed. He's been pretty entertaining on his extended appearances on the EReed show. At least you admit you're not being honest about what you actually said.
At the risk of abusing the accolade, Skolnick may literally be the best sports writer I know. It would be absurd for him to not have a significant job.
Ethan doesn't want to say anything because he's got a contract issue to worry about but in late September I expect he will unload the real reasons for all of this. They did him dirty. Sports journalists at the place went to bat for him tho so that's good. Evidently some colleagues are unloading on BR in Ethan's place tho.
Look at that. There goes the last shred of credibility Bleacher Report ever had IMO. What a **** show organization.
Sportsbang returns this week, and we will have Ethan Skolnick sitting in for Stugotz. I am also returning as the EP, as our current EP is on vacation.
Awesome pic. This stuff gets me hyped. lebron sitting on a windowsill in Cleveland, gazing out at the rain pouring down and city smog floating up, with this pic in hand on his Note 4, rubbing the photo with his thumb, yearning for the days.
Richardson signed and will wear number 0. https://mobile.twitter.com/J_Rich1/status/628281341675704320
Westbrook does. Mike Bibby did for the Heat too. That being said I don't get the trend in popularity either.
With Richardson wearing #0, that opens up #14 for Green, which he wore last year with Phoenix. He did also wear #5 with the Celtics and #25 with the Pacers, though, and both of those numbers are also open.
Yep, he took 14: https://instagram.com/p/5-E5EwEMis/?taken-by=miamiheat And Amar'e took 5: https://instagram.com/p/58K8G3EMs-/?taken-by=miamiheat EDIT: Sorry, I don't know how to post instagram pictures on here, you'll just have to click on the links.
Per Barry Jackson, Heat and Pelicans will play on Christmas Day at 12:00 in Miami. Surprised this is the match up. The marquee 5:00 pm start has to be Cleveland and GS, I imagine.
All good things come to an end. The Pelicans won 45 games last year (in the WEST) with a moron at head coach and injuries to make the Miami Heat blush. They're returning nearly the entire roster, plus they've got a top-knotch coaching staff. And Anthony Davis is a year older with more experience and better coaching. I predict we'll get the 4 or 5 seed in the West this year. It will be a very competitive game on Christmas Day. I think we'll win.
I don't think anybody had a worse injury year than Miami last year. As for winning the game, it's an early game in Miami on Christmas. Miami is going to be a heavy favorite.
Are we really discussing who is going to win a game being played over four months from now, that is approximately 20 games into a season that won't start for 2 and a half months?
Pels also gonna open up the season at Warriors. Nice national spotlight. http://theadvocate.com/sports/pelicans/13110772-128/sources-pelicans-to-meet-warriors
