That's pretty amazing he's makign the calls even though Ayodele is used to the defense.

And would everyone please stop about the Crowder is dumb comments. Dude is smart, and scored well on his wonderlic. He made the calls as a rookie when Zach went out.

I always wondered, how a guy who makes jokes everytime we hear him, gets taken serious when he makes some jokes about London. I understand ESPN and rest of the nation, since they know nothing about our Dolphins, but even some people on the boards as well.

Yeah, contract year = big year. I don't know if it will happen, but alot of players have big years during the contract year. That would be great. Crowder not only needs to make alot of tackles, he needs to make game changing plays, ints, forced fumbles, etc.

He did alright in temporary duty at ML but he has some huge shoes to fill if he is to replace Zack Thomas.
This year should be a good yardstick to decide if we need to be looking for that position in the draft or whether we can just take a good linebacker who plays outside or inside.
For Crowders sake and the Dolphins sake, I hope he excells at the position and proves a lot of doubters wrong.

I agree. I just hope this isn't a one time thing and he ends up like Albert Haynesworth who plays for the money and then gets lazy.

I hope he has a great year for us. Id love to see him really step up and take Zach's role. Somebody has to become a leader on this defense now with both Zach and JT gone. Crowder has experience, has always been a Dolphin, theres no reason why it cant be him. This has to be his year, or he may not see many more as a phin

Last season Alen1. He had a serious shot in the main season to cement his place after Zach went down. He didnt take it IMO. Im still looking for him to makes things happen and step up. Ok i know hes doing well at camp so im happy with that but i want to see him actually take charge of a game on Defense and lead and i'll stick by that until he shows me different. All this talk of him playing for a bigger contract makes me mad to be honest. If he was that good he shouldnt be playing better to make more bucks. I know it sometimes happens but i want him playing for that Dolphin on his helmet. His predecessor did i know that.
