Let's do the Scouts Inc. negatives on Hester-

Weaknesses: Lacks any elite physical tools. Is severely undersized at the fullback position. Gives up too much size in the phone booth as an iso-blocker and won't be able to win most battles versus bigger linebackers at the point of attack. He lacks ideal elusiveness and speed to carry a full load as a featured back and he needs to get bigger and stronger in order to effectively handle short-yardage carries in the NFL.

Considering the conservative, run oriented football that Parcells favors, he's almost certainly going to want a blocking-first fullback, someone who is going to line up in the I-formation and lead block. Hester isnt that. Hester is more like a Patrick Pass or Sammy Morris type fullback, someone who is going to play more runningback or catching out of the backfield than anything.

Thanks for coming to my defense guys. In any case, this is just another example of someone that desperately wants to believe that his college hero will be a stud in the NFL on heart alone. Hell, I have a ton of heart, but I just didn't have the size and talent to get to that next level (college ball in my case). I wish heart was all it took. If it was, I'm sure a lot of us would be strapping it up on Sunday's instead of conversing on these boards.
