Cavs beat Heat in 2007, but still a long time nonetheless

Tristan Thompson signs a 1 year QO with the Cavaliers, will test free agency next year.

Great for their cap this year.

Probably means he won't be back next year though. :(

Not seeing that he actually signed anywhere.

Still no reason to do so for the next couple months right?

Anybody here get league pass last year? I see that you can sign up after the 1st week of September and am contemplating getting it this year (the internet package). Just wondering how the quality was and if you can choose which broadcast you watch. Thanks.

you can sometimes choose the broadcast, but rarely. it is well worth it, if you are not "in market".

Thanks. Definitely don't want to miss the Heat this year so I think I'll be getting it. Found a great streaming site last year but it tapered off at the end of the year so for the price it seems well worth it.

Wow Heat at Cavs for the Cavs' home opener on 10/30.

That'll be the Cavs 3rd game in 4 nights after playing at Chicago and Memphis (supposedly). There goes Sec's theory that they try to schedule wins for teams on their home opener. That's a scheduled loss.

3rd game in 4 nights to start a season doesn't matter.

Cavs will be a clear FAV in that game. Heat win that one with all the emotions of a opening night crowd....then I will start to think about possibly ending the hairline's quest for a title in Cleveland.

Still matters - especially when all 3 games are against top competition and Kyrie and Love are still gonna be recovering from injuries.

After the beating we took for it, you'd think folks would learn from us. But the double-standard being what it is, everybody felt good for Cleveland when they did it. ;)

Heh, we only held parades when we won. A pep rally inside our own gym.....that's a weekly occurrence in every high school across FL.

this is their 2nd year together. big difference. That Cavs team at that time was a cobbled mess.

Heat in 10' got murdered in Boston then eeked by Philly before murdering Orlando at home.

This is the 3rd time out of 4 years the Cavs opener has been on my wedding anniversary. Running out of points to convince the wife to keep spending our anny at the Q.

Spending your wedding anniversary giving Dan Gilbert money would be grounds for divorce in most courts.

NBA a League Pass question: is it true that you can't even watch games in your home market? If so, can I get my brother in New York to get league pass as a New Yorker and give me his password so I can watch the local games here in New Orleans?

    Thanks.

Are you trying to watch the Pelicans but not have cable?

I suppose you could share somebody's password but it probably only works one device at a time so you couldn't watch at the same time, I think

I think it blacks out games based on your IP address, but I'm not sure.

I've heard (:shifty:) that you can set up a VPN so that it thinks you are somewhere else and gives you access - but that's a bit of a pain if you don't know what you're doing. If you watching on a tablet there are some apps that do it fairly easily, tho.

I don't think I'll ever understand the Delly thing. He sucks so bad. Cavs fans hated him all year. How did he become a thing that the MVP and Champion would be discussing on the radio two months after the season ended?

Dan Patrick brought it up lol

    DP mostly instigated it honestly.

It started with DP asking him about playing his brother this coming season, and then DP said "your parents know you dont play defense though, oh thats right you shut down Dellavedova" and Curry laughed pretty hard.

Then DP asked about Riley, and he asked does Riley have a jumpshot yet and who does it compare to, his or his wife's jumpshot, and Curry said his wife was actually knocking down 3s while pregnant. And DP then says are you saying that your wife has a better jump shot than Dellavedova? And curry spat out his coffee laughing his *** off and didnt answer that.

Same way Cavs fans un-burned all those LeBron jerseys and un-urinated on all those urinal stencils.

That's simply not true. Maybe during the regular season, but in the playoffs he became a folk hero. He supposedly "shut down" Curry early on. Aside from LeBron, he was all anyone was talking about for the first couple of games. That's why Curry would be talking about him after the season ended.

Well, the only game he played with the Heat vs Golden State he had a double double and Draymond Green stunk, almost fouled out, their bench and Curry won the day.

I really think Whiteside would crush Green if he were guarding him. I don't really see any way he'd be able to guard that size and skill-set.

I hope he drops 30 on that clown but eh, i also feel like whiteside uses too much subtle comments that is meant to be directed to spoelstra lol couple weeks ago he was responding to someone that compared his numbers to anthony davis and he says the difference between anthony davis and himself is that anthony plays 36 minutes and he only plays 20. And then these comments seemed like another thing he meant for spoelstra, spoelstra likes up tempo small ball.

I love how draymond resorted to comparing salaries because you just know thats gonna be in whitesides grudge section of his brain this year aiming for that max contract.
