Coming out of Pitt, Marino could move... For those first 4 years, he ran bootlegs and moved around well enough. Obviously as time went on and his knees deteriorated, that mobility left him. Still had great feet though, and could move, jump, skip, slide in the pocket though. The Achilles really crippled him. From '95 onward, his legs were totally shot. Too bad he didn't play in this era, they could lined him up in shotgun/pistol 75% of the time, where he always had a ton of success throwing, even after the Achilles.
I never proclaimed myself to be mature, I simply was referring to a post meant to fuel the fire of an outdated argument that obviously still irks a couple guy's. Time to move on in life gentleman, i will help you anyway I can.
Did you just admit that the whole "deep passes are really 40 yards" was only true when Wallace was here?
That is EXACTLY what I said! By the way, guess who had the 31st best rating in the league on passes OVER 20 YARDS??? You guessed it ole timer... The guy has struggled thus far with deep passes, admidt it and move on with confidence he will be better.
Here's a logic problem for you..... If Tannehill not being able to hit the deep ball (40 yard variety) is not Wallace;'s fault, then it is very much a current and relevant topic as Tannehill is our QB. So.....your current crybaby wah-wah about this topic being old can't be true UNLESS you admit the argument was invented to defend Wallace. You cannot have it both ways.
You make no sense as usual, is it old age?? Or have you always struggled this bad with interpretation skills?? Get well soon
FinD is correct. If Tannehill is bad at the deep ball, then this is relevant, as Tannehill is still here. If it's irrelevant, then it stands to reason it's because Tannehill wasn't the problem. Are we surprised that Tannen I'll was low ranked on deep balls last season, throwing them to Wallace, who we know he struggled with, and to other receivers who decided not to catch them?
I will say he could have stood some improvement in that area last year (and hopefully it's improved this year, it is by camp reports anyway), but he wasn't nearly as bad as 31...the other half(ves) of that equation certainly didn't do their part...I'd say he was average to slightly below average at it, maybe 16th to 20th'ish...no way he was 31 on his lonesome.
Well atleast FinD got his wish and got yet another thread off topic. Guy is s real ASSet to this site. Have the mains gotten so bad that I'm actually the only one with any kind of unbiased fandom?? Seems that way, have never seen a few guy's in such denial over something that was so obvious to 95% of people who actually watch the games. I really feel like im on hidden camera, or im the victim of some intentional trolling. This can't be real life, people can't really be this naive.
Just ban all the fanboys, both Tannehill's and Wallace's. The mains have become insufferable. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
A harmless joke was made about the notion of changing the definition of deep passes and someone got their ample panties in a bunch and flat out insulted those posters who did nothing wrong. There's one real problem here.
If you don't like the conversation in the main's, then don't read it. Simple. Or block the people you don't want to read.
Posters should not have to resort to avoiding violations of the TOS or blocking people. Beyond that, I'm not sure how anyone could reasonably identify this thread as being a risk. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
I'm not sure what your issue is. You complain about "fanboys," but don't want to put people who annoy you on ignore? Being a fanboy isn't a violation of anything. I see someone in this thread, calling people names, a clear violation of ToS, but you're whining about "fanboys." The ignore feature is here for a reason. Maybe I'll take my own advice and add someone.
You haven't really lived until you done a line of coke off of a stripper's ***. That is when you become an adult.
