Tannehill, Ryan [163] + Superstar Ryan Tannehill Wake, Cameron [322] - A vote for Wake is a vote for mediocrity.
I know most people aren't voting because of any perceived Survivor curse, but there is at least one [cough]Bpk[/cough]. So let's take a look at Cameron Wake and what happened the seasons after he has been crowned Survivor Champion: 2011: A 6-10 season. Sparano's final campaign as Dolphins coach. A horrible season in which Sparano did just enough at the end so the team could finish with a disgustingly horribly mediocre record. 2013: 8-8. The epitome of mediocre. While I don't blame these seasons on Wake, and he was one of the few bright spots in those horrifyingly awful mediocre seasons; anyone believing in any kind of curse should not be counting on Cameron Wake to avoid it. If you're reading tea leaves you should know that if Wake is crowned again, the Dolphins are likely in for another huge heaping helping of mediocrity. So if it's a curse you're looking to avoid, how about vote for the one player that has any meaningful chance of rescuing this team from mediocrity? We all know who that player is. Superstar Ryan Tannehill. A vote for Wake is a vote for mediocrity.
Don't believe in curses, I just want Tannehill to win this. Never was a big voter but I saw a few pages back that RT had a huge count and then all of a sudden people started ganging up on him even when there were plenty of other players left, so my inclination towards supporting underdogs kicked in. COME ON RT SUPPORTERS WE CAN STILL DO THIS
Underdogs? Head back further and you'll find RT was so far in the lead that no-one was even close and people were saying it's pointless playing because RT will obviously win. It's Cam who has come from behind.
You'll also see my posts when Tannehill had a huge lead where I said even though he has a huge lead he still won't win. Because this is what happens every year. People pick other favorites down the stretch because they think voting for the QB is too cliche. So he never has a chance. Absent a superbowl ring where Tannehill is the MVP it will always be some other fan favorite. As much as I try to convince people otherwise. Maybe some day I'll live to see the most important player on the team earn a survivor championship.
Tannehill, Ryan [158] ---- Wake, Cameron [327]++ (really did you just call Cam Wake mediocre...) You're just gonna make me vote more often. keep talkin.
Yea that didn't look pretty. Still votin Tanny. Monst I think you may be using reverse psychology. You are overselling your hand bro.
You guys aren't paying attention. I'm not calling Cam Wake mediocre. I'm playing into the curse philosophy that some have used as a reason not to vote for Tannehill. In seasons after Wake has won the team has had terribly mediocre seasons. I explained it clear as day in the first post of this page.
Some of you guys have really killed the fun in this game this year. Aside from BPK, most of you guys just don't get it.
Oh don't worry, I am playing along. Your game seems to be disrespect Wake. My game is to make you shove it where the sun don't shine
Cameron Wake's already won twice, that automatically disqualifies him as being an underdog. And Tannehill steadily got his votes early on from a few amount of people, all of a sudden everyone decides to vote against Tannehill when they saw that he was in front. Truth is there are way more people voting against RT right now and with way more consistency than the other way around, he is the underdog.
