Phin, either your voting it wrong or your symbols are... I'll assume your numbers are right. Tannehill, Ryan [158] ---- Wake, Cameron [327]++
Brasfin - Is Tannehill the underdog? Exhibit A Long term, it would seem so. +1 to RT17 being the underdog. Exhibit B Everyone votes for RT17 when they seem him way in front? You mean, like they might when voting for an underdog? RT way in front = -1 for RT17 being the underdog. Exhibit C The scores are going back and forth and the number of voters are more in favour of RT. Wake's crew have just been more active. It's pretty even so far. +/-0 for RT17 being the underdog. So, a quick bit of math: 1 - 1 + 0 = 0. Therefore, scientifically speaking, it's even. RT17 isn't the underdog. There isn't an underdog.
I didn't go back and actually count the number of people who voted for RT17, but by the looks of it, he was accumulating votes since the beginning through a small, but consistent number of voters. Before there were many options for which to vote against (-), and most other players received that negative vote, so yes he was not the underdog back then when considering the sheer number of positive votes. But now, many people seem to be voting against Tannehill, as evidenced by his huge drop in numbers. That obviously means the number of people voting against Tannehill is a lot higher than the ones voting for him, making him the underdog. And by underdog, I mean versus Wake, not before when there were other players available.
Actually, your first scenario is what happened with Wake. Ryan shot off to a massive lead. Everyone was voting for him until, I suppose, it seemed boring or he had enough of a lead, and people voted for others like Grimes, Suh etc. Meanwhile, a small, steady group were voting for Wake. It took a long time but he eventually caught Tannehill, at which point people who, presumably, had been voting for others, started to vote for Tannehill. A few more came to support Wake and a few more for Tannehill. It's been very close, but the difference so far has been the faithfulness and tirelessness of the Wake supporters around the clock.
