with the amount he'd be used in a real game he can wear a flat jacket and take a shot and be fine for his 5 carries and 10 plays.

I don't see either of them being cut, especially since Sheppard appears to be the starting MLB at the moment.
I doubt Paysinger is a cut, think he is a key cog in the ST unit. Think Bowman will probably make it for that reason as well.

I like Jeff Luc, Damarr Aultman and James Davidson. I would not want to lose those three. But I do believe they should put in a claim on DL Ben Gardner of Dallas who was absurdly cut despite having a great preseason and being a great college player. Given the disconnect between his draft status (ended up 7th round) and what he showed on tape at Stanford, I do wonder if he has some sort of personal issue though...much like Lache Seastrunk. Something to investigate. James Davidson has already been told they intend to get him on the practice squad.
Not actually a Dolphin cut - but an ex dolphin has been cut - Philip Wheeler is gone. Wheeler signed with the 49ers after being released by the Dolphins in March after playing just two years of a five-year, $26 million deal.
I bet Wheeler is out of the league. How could you get cut by the 49ers. Half their LB corps retired!!!!
I guess Matt Barkley was traded to the Cardinals. That's interesting. He was a possibility for the Dolphins because Bill Lazor loves him.
Barkley's had some damn good coaching. Chip Kelly, Bill Lazor, now Bruce Arians. Great opportunities to develop and make a career for himself.
Down to 67 now by my count. Must cut 14 more. They are, imo: - McLeod Bethel-Thompson - LaMike James - Mike Gillislee - Tim Semisch - Jacques McClendon - Aundrey Walker - Cobi Hamilton - Mike Hull - Neville Hewitt - Zack Bowman - Jordan Kovacs - Matt Hazel (Unless we trade Matthews) - Caleb Sturgis - Emmanuel Dieke
We need more range and athleticism in our LB unit. I'd keep Neville Hewitt personally, let him backup WILL, learn the defense and allow us some flexibility next year with he and Vigil hopefully developing. The Dolphins fringe roster spots are currently ticketed for a lot of middling veterans and with the impending cap decisions/free agent expenditures, we need the cheap rookies to develop into contributing spots on the roster. Bowman, Mosely, Paysinger, Linkenbach, Sheppard, Jennings all project to varying levels of contribution, but all have very little future with us. Perhaps they believe they can get Hewitt, Hull, Walker, etc. onto the practice squad and intend to develop them there.
jordan tripp offers what your looking for in a developmental player just have to wait til he gets healthy again.
I've read your sig 5 times now. This isn't the lmeister I've come to know and love. Where is the fap joke?
A lot of mentions of players being cut but not all were official , or actual , was Johnson's officially announced ?
I would add caution to what we've heard already. IMO, these are feelers in case a team wants to trade for any of these guys (cough Anthony Johnson cough)
I'd be in favor of claiming or trading for Christine Michael, who will likely get pushed down by Fred Jackson's arrival. Talented, athletic as hell. I feel like he's better than every back we have aside from Miller. He must know Tannehill too, right?
This is crazy...looked to me like when the lights came on th a Gillislee outplayed James, hands Down. Plus he runs with power. Just Curious to me is all.
